2 visits in two days and no answer as to why I am in pain. Pain has only increased. I left in just as much pain as I arrived in. I was given a script for a muscle relaxer, it is 10 pm, no pharmacies are open at this time, Nurse argued with me stating there were pharmacies open. There are not. I Guess I will suffer some more. I will definitely not return to this ER for anything. And I will also add that the day before when I was a patient I had a nurse come in that was very rude and had a terrible bedside manner. Her name was Gwendolyn. Nothing quite like being sick and having to deal someone with a nasty attitude. Yes the wait time is short but I would definitely recommend the Piedmont Main Er or Gwinnett Medical if quality care is needed. I know better now.
The staff there at Piedmont Eastside South Rehabilitation hospital are extremely friendly, personable, kind, and very committed. I'm a PC Associate and I am so appreciative of there care and concern to help people get stronger. Thank you so much for helping Percy Davis with his OC, and Physical therapy. I believe Percy will be much better now. They are Awesome
We’ve done everything and now we’re just waiting wasting time. Doctors are taking longer than normal to get to us. I asked how long will it be bc I have a newborn to get back to and the nurse suggested we sign a form to leave. All I wanted was a time and she couldn’t find that out for me. She said the doctor had 11 other patients to worry about, which I understand. We had been here a long time just waiting. We finally got done at 5:58 p.m. Twelve minutes has passed and no discharge papers.
So far the only thing that not giving them 5 stars is because the ctscan tech said something about wearing a mask and we haven't had one on the whole time and the wait got here at 2:45 am and still sitting here at 5:11am. And the room for me and am not the patient was cold. The nurse and Dr was wonderful.
I want to first start off by saying I have sickle cell disease. Normally when patients go into hospitals for pain we are immediately judged and look at as if our pain isn't serious but from the moment I walked in there was nothing but caring nurses and doctors. My doctor was Dr. Prosser he listened to me, he made me feel safe and overall just wanted to get me feeling better and he did just that! Even the nurses were AMAZING. The longest I waited to see the doctor and getting meds was not even an hour. I've never had such an great experience at an hospital. Love, love, you guys!
I want to say I have never been in an ER that was this attentive and on top of their game. So glad I chose to come here this evening instead of the big hospital. Everyone from the front staff to the nurses , techs and doctors were excellent. Thank you all for taking care of me
I came to this ER facility on March 16th for severe chest pain and an elevated heartrate. 1. I told them I had severe chest pains and they left me in the lobby for a while while I was thinking I was dying. Also, I don't know what was going on in the rooms, but the lobby was completely empty. 2. In the room: They placed a catheter, took xrays and hooked me up to an ekg...then left me.....in pain 3. I was asked to submit a urine sample......they proceeded to leave the sample on the cabinet in the room for hours. It wasn't even sent to the lab. It was still there when I was discharged. 4. They did not give me anything for my symptoms the pain. The doctor randomly said it might be a clot.....recommended another $$$ test. When I said I'm self pay and how much is all of this going to cost....the doctor left, came back after a long while and said "it's not a clot". Then discharged me. What changed???? 5. I was discharged still in severe pain and my heart rate was not normal still elevated. This is not okay. 6. The doctor I am sure she was tired had no bedside manner and made me feel like I was bothering her by being there. Then I get multiple bills totalling over 1500$ and for what? I had no diagnosis, no relief from my symptoms, no idea what was going on and I was in the room for hours with little contact. They wrote up a referral to a cardiac specialist......was I going to see them at 2am? No....I went back home thinking I hope I wake up in the morning. I will never come back to this ER.
On a scale of 1 to 5, five being outstanding, I give Piedmont Eastside South Campus and he main hospital a 10. The doctors, nurses, paitient techs, and therapists have been more than professional. The environmental techs are so friendly we have become freinds. They have been caring, understanding and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. I wish Dr. Boyd was a primary care physician because we would pick her. You can tell they all enjoy what they do. My wife had two strokes and a heart attack and this team of professionals are bringing her back to herself. I am beside myself with gratefulness. If anyone ever has a complaint with Piedmont Eastside they must have serious personal issues. Whoever is overall in charge has accomplished a work environment that is second to none. I thank God He brought us to this place for treatment and recovery.
I have never been to a hospital ER and not see a doctor after being there 6 hours I finally walk out because if I’m going to die I would rather be home.
Excellent professional service was provided to me by the staff of Piedmont Eastside South, January 16, 2022. Everyone was friendly and caring, I really felt comfortable and safe during my stay. EMT service professionals were notable as well. I have shared my positive experience with several of my friends and neighbors.
