Eastview isn't the greatest facility on the planet but it works great as a gathering space. There is a small gym with basketball about 80% the size of a full court and a community room with couches, TV, and ping pong. There is also a full service kitchen that people can rent. It gets really busy after school gets out around 2pm and high schoolers will generally hang out here until 5pm. Outside there are tennis courts, softball fields, a large grassy field, and playground. Neighbors are really nice and care deeply about the park, makes for a pretty safe area. In the summer they serve free lunches to kids as part of the Saint Paul Public Schools summer lunch program. Eastview is also home to Saint Paul Urban Tennis, a community serving tennis non-profit. They do a lot of partnerships and outreach to keep the space energized.
Very clean and well maintained park, located on the East side of St Paul but happens to be amist a comfortable, beautiful and well cared for pocket of the city. They also have a rec center and a porto-pottie for the hours the building is closed. Basketball courts and tennis, a big field for soccer plus a newly renovated playground which is also made to accommodate children with special needs. I love this park and visit it often. The only negative comment is more like a request, I wish it would offer some youth sports there. I live quiet close but always have to register at Duluth/caseand being completely forthright, I don't want to leave my children at a rec center that isn't always safe or Battle Creek, which we all know does have its own challenges to offer a good environment for their participants. With all that being said... Thank you very much for a park that truly offers the care and attention the kids needs.
Beautiful little playground with brand new equipment 2022 or at least it looks brand new. The parent child swings were a lot of fun with my 16 month old absolutely loves them. There was a small amount of trash around that I picked up as we played but that is very typical for the local streets this early in the season.
Was very clean when we went their kids had fun did a lot of climbing for bigger kids a little area for toddlers
Fun place, kids got to run around and kept entertained while brother had practice
They phone don’t ever answer
The remodeled tennis courts are fantastic. Our family had a great time playing or attempting to play
