Honestly for the price of about $100 a night it comes with a pretty decent TV two very nice beds which were clean and comfortable. The front desk person was very kind and was helpful. Bathroom was pretty small and there wasn't much hot water but besides that there were amenities and plenty of towels.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! For your own good, DO NOT GO THERE! The receptionist was extremely rude to us and was looking to make problems. And the room was NASTY!! We had a confirmed reservation for the suite with a fire place and hot tub confirmed by Super 8 and by Wyndham. It was written clearly on the confirmation Email we received from the hotel. And it was confirmed twice over the phone, when we made the reservation. When we got to the hotel the receptionist gave us a tiny, dirty room without the amenities we were promised. When we showed him the email, he backed out and said that if we want to get the room we reserved we have have to pay an extra $100 more then the confirmed price, plus pay for the other room we didn't ask for. More then 3 times the amount agreed on in the original confirmation. He also told us that if we back out of the room he gave us he would still charge us $80 for the room, a way overpriced amount for such a disgusting room we didn't reserve and didn't want. Meanwhile, he himself was backing out of the confirmation by not giving us the room we reserved. He was extremely rude, nasty and unhelpful. When I said I want to speak to a manager, he refused to help me. After over an hour of madness, calling customer service and getting sent from one representative to another, without getting any help, we reluctantly took the room we were given. It looked like it belonged to a hotel in hell. The bathroom was old and dirty. The bed sheets were ripped. Not at all like the pictures they show you online. That's when I regretted not reading the hotels horrible reviews beforehand. In the morning we woke up to weird noises coming from the lobby which happens to be outdoors, so it's literally freezing in the winter. We also didn't get the breakfast promised to us in the reservation. And again, when I asked the receptionist how I can reach the manager he didn't want to help me. After I left, I sent them an email to try to figure out what went wrong. I didn't hear back from them, no answer, no explanation and of course no compensation. Don't do the mistake that I did! DO NOT spend the night in the smelly super 8 in Carlstadt NJ, and you won't have a disastrous night in hell, and deal with those nasty idiots behind the desk. They don't even deserve 1 star...
My hotel experience at first was great. It had a beautiful room that we paid extra for. However, the clerk told us will NOT refund our deposit because he "found cigarette buds all over the room." My partner and I both have chronic asthma and have never smoked a day in our lives. We also left the room very clean and in perfect condition. Anybody that tries to scam out hardworking people who just wanted to get away deserves one star.
If i can rate this establishment i would a -0. First off i reserved a room because i had a promotion. I get here and it’s a totally different scenario. MR.V at the lobby yelled at me saying he would never book a suite for the price they gave me…. Confirmation and all with a 50% because i am a Wyndham MEMBER again this was booked over the phone with the reservations department. He is very unprofessional and rude… He was also being rude to another customer who wanted to rent a room. They definitely lost that business PLUS mine.
The property manger was really rude to us, my family and I are African American and the manger was so rude to us. We seen the Caucasian customers receive better treatment then us. Also the hotel or should i say motel looks nothing like what’s advertised. The only good thing about the hotel was the water temperature in the shower. Would not recommend this hotel to anybody but especially people of color. Update: As you can see they gave us a number to contact them and straighten things out. I called and the guy said that was the wrong location and did nothing for us. As I stated before people of color I do not recommend this place!
Was in a blizard, and the front desk guy was wonderful i needed more regular coffee and he braved the weather to bring it to me . It's clean and micro wave. I really thought it was wonderful since the front desk guy also helped me with my luggage which most don't anymore no breakfast but coffee but. I haven't been to nj in 35 years. No restaurant to walk to but i had provisions so ok
This place is gross. There was dirt and hair everywhere, especially on the sheets which means they were not changed. The room looked nothing like the one I booked in the pictures. Hair in the bed and the tub. We ended up walking out and were charged double what we were supposed to pay and have not received any refund.Rooms: 1/5
Room was comfortable enough for a nights stay. Clean. Service was great! Bathroom was decent size and clean. We were right across from the MetLife stadium.Rooms: 4/5
If I could rate this hotel 0 stars, I would. The room we got was so dirty and dingy that I still can’t believe how much we paid for it. There were dead bugs in the corners of the sinks, a huge stain on the carpet, the shower got clogged within one use. We couldn’t open the curtains of the room because the only window opened up to the hallway, and the lighting was terrible so the room was just dark all the time. Will not be staying at this hotel ever again, and will not be recommending to anyone.
Rooms do not look like the nice pictures on their website. The whole place had a funny smell that was trying to be covered up by air freshener. 1st room A/C was terribly loud. Moved to another room & the smoke alarm kept beeping. Moved to a 3rd room, some lights didn’t work but no noise so we accepted it as we arrived at 2am after a long 16 hour road trip & needed sleep. Woke up next morning & could see better with curtains open. Room was dingy & hair was in the shower. Terrible experience!!
