Eddy Out is our destination when we need to unwind, distress & simply enjoy being out and having fun. We have 2 cabins, one with 2 separate quarters & the second with a small loft that is great for kids, but can handle 2 adults as well. The front half we named the Frontier because we have furnished it with an old iron bed, an antique buffet & side table, a beautiful hand made cedar rocking chair and a cute, small, vintage kitchenette table & chairs. It's perfect for 2 people the enjoy a little A/C while watching a movie on our tv/dvd player.
The back half is named the Bunkhouse. You'll understand why when you see our hand made set of triple bunk beds! It's meant to sleep a group and would be perfect for floaters to come stay the night, set off on the river come morning & return later for a nice shower, campfire & relaxation.
The last cabin is our personal favorite. We named it the Trapper. It's the first to be decorated with things from the past. You'll find a wonderful log bed, chest of drawers & side table along with a small kitchenette that includes a small refrigerator and a microwave/convection oven. We have a tv/dvd/ player and a small collection of movies for those times you just want to lay around in the cool air and relax.
We are have a wonderfully remodeled bath house to take care of daily needs, as well as an outdoor shower that is my personal favorite! If you haven't taken an outdoor shower before, you don't know what you have missed. 2 - 55 gallon drums with water heated by the sun, the blue sky above, a warm breeze on your skin and you've got an old fashioned, relaxing shower. It's my choice, hands down.
Our campgrounds are along the top bank of the Kings river and are under a line of trees offering shade most of the time. There are fire rings, picnic tables & grills for multiple campers & for those who really like their privacy, there is a nice area on one side that separates you from the rest. There is plenty of room for parking and makes a great place for group gatherings.
