Day Camp


Forest Glen Day Camp is more than a week of excessive fun. It's one activity this summer that may have an eternal impact on your child's life. Our program is designed to help campers realize their value in Christ. They are built up by camp counselors who continuously affirm them with their words and actions. They learn confidence with activities that are not only fun but also teach solid values. They discover Jesus through a Biblical curriculum and staff members who are called to ministry. For campers, the effects of summer camp are a better picture of how much God loves them, a real depiction of Christianity, and life-lessons of true servant leadership.

For over 30 years, Forest Glen has had a long standing reputation of excellence. We never claim to be perfect by any stretch, but we are a worthwhile, sound investment in your child’s growth. We promise that your child will have fun adventures, hearty laughs and incredible memories. Outdoor Learning Center

Ignite your elementary student’s curiosity while developing their understanding and respect for nature through our Wilderness Education Course. Or, utilize experiential education to create personal, team building and leadership development opportunities through our Ropes/Challenge Course, recommended for 7th through 12th grades. Each course emphasizes an awareness, appreciation and understanding of wildlife and natural resources. Our knowledgeable instructors are happy to lead your course from a secular or Christian faith perspective, as you request.

Retreats

We invite you to bring your retreat group to Forest Glen Camps and Retreat Center. We offer retreat facilities in both Huntsville and Rosebud, TX. From August to May we partner with churches, Christian and community organizations to customize a retreat event that will meet our guests unique needs and goals. No matter what age group or price range, Forest Glen can accommodate your retreat. We are passionate about providing the best hospitality and setting for all groups.
