They are absolutely the worst company you could every deal with, especially when it comes to something as sensitive as medical care and supplies. And the "supervisor" Aida that I spoke with today- should be fired. I would never approve of anyone so incompetent working for me in a supervisor position- or any of the other people I've spoken with there over the past 4 months. The entire customer service division should be shut down and just hire new folks. Please find other means of getting medical equipment if it's available to you. Save yourself the time and headache. They will steal your money with no thought about it!
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Continuous insurance issues, claiming that I need a prescription renewed each time I place an order for ostomy supplies. My deductibles are met. However, they’re still charging me prices that do not match a met deductible. I continuously have problems with them and their shipping of my medical supplies. Last month it was over 35 days late leaving me desperate to order additional supplies from Amazon and paying full price when my insurance pays for everything 100%. I’m hoping I can find another company because this place is absolutely horrible.
Horrible horrible horrible company. If I could give zero stars, I would. Currently spending two days without my insulin pump because they refuse to ship my supplies on time for the 20th time. So I’m left with nothing for days waiting. You’re better off dead than ordering supplies from Edgepark.
Edgepark is just awful. Every order has some new issue. Whether it's with insurance verification or documents needed from your doctor. Never is an order smooth. It takes weeks to get anything accomplished. Never do you speak to somebody who can actually solve the problem. The person you speak to has to submit a request to the applicable department. I think they outsource their calls to a call center so you never speak to somebody actually helpful. The national medical supply companies are all garbage. If one would step up and actually do a good job and get good reviews, everybody would switch to them.
Truly HORRIBLE. I got my first breast pump through them in 2021 and it was seamless. This time, I tried to order online again and the new site they have loops you in circles and you never get to order the pump. I couldn’t log into my account and I’m pretty computer saavy. I called them multiple times, speaking with both the breast pump department and then the web help. They told me they put a ticket in no reference number or anything and said it will be fixed within 3-4 business days. Sure enough, nothing fixed. I called again and explain the situation and of course no apologies or attempt to help. They just want you to order the pump on the phone but then don’t want to go through the list in detail of which pump is or isn’t covered by your insurance. Truly a disastrous company. I don’t write online reviews often but my horrible experience motivated me to do so to warn other pregnant women.
Edgepark has delivered poor customer service over the last 8 months; this is consistent with confusing customer emails stating orders “in process” when they such orders need to be shipped as promised but are NOT shipped. Again, another month where I am without my supplies that are needed for diabetes management.
I feel compelled to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by Edgepark. My husband required Plurex drain kits for daily use, a crucial medical necessity that was integral to his well-being. However, our experience with Edgepark has been nothing short of a nightmare. Attempting to obtain these kits turned into a prolonged ordeal filled with frustration and disappointment. I made multiple phone calls, sent three faxes, and yet, the process remained needlessly complicated. What should have been a straightforward request became an arduous and time-consuming process. To make matters worse, it took an excruciating 24 hours for Edgepark to send the correct form to our insurance company. This delay only added to our distress, leaving us without the essential supplies my husband urgently required. The most appalling aspect of this entire ordeal, however, was the abysmal customer service we encountered. It is truly bewildering to fathom how a company, especially one dealing with medical needs, could treat its customers with such disdain. The representatives were unhelpful, unresponsive, and seemingly indifferent to our predicament. The fact that a company like Edgepark could exhibit such a callous disregard for its customers, especially when it concerns vital medical supplies, is truly disheartening. It raises serious questions about their commitment to their clients' well-being and their understanding of the urgency of medical needs. I strongly advise anyone considering using Edgepark to think twice. Their incompetence, lack of empathy, and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction have left us feeling frustrated, helpless, and profoundly disappointed. No one should have to endure such mistreatment, especially when their health and well-being are on the line.
Unfortunately I have to use this company for my insulin pump and CGM supplies because it’s the only DME company my insurance is contracted with. I have had T1D since 2010 and never once had issues with a company sending me supplies like this one. There is always something wrong- not processing my insurance correctly or not getting the orders from my doctor. I’m a pretty patient and understanding person and plan ahead. I started this process as soon as we got our new insurance because I knew it would take time. They keep sending the prescription request to my doctor, the doctor sends the order from back. And for some reason they are still waiting on the written orders from them. It’s been 3 weeks. I am almost out of supplies. This is ridiculous. If you can avoid them, do it.
They did not give my insurance company the normal and required information for my supplies to be paid for. They kept blaming my insurance, which has no issues with other suppliers for years. I finally got both of them on the phone and Edgepark acknowledged they never sent the information. Dozens of calls and a year later, they still have not sent the information. Their service is friendly on the phone, but completely incompetent. It cost me over a thousand dollars for their error.
Horrific company. God awful customer service. Outright incompetence. They make getting simple medical supplies as complicated as possible. My father has been waiting on a cathyder order from them for weeks. His supply is completely out. The Clinic sends over multiple written orders. Every time you verify the order with Edgepark they claim they never received the order. People are going to die and end up suing this company for their gross negligence and total disregard for patient care. I’m disgusted by their operation, and everyone else on here should be too. Call the state attorney general, federal trade commission and better business bureau and inform them about their problematic business practices. Dangerous doesn’t speak volumes to how they’re operating. My father and other ill sick folks should not be allowed to be treated like this.
