I am a regular here now I guess. It meets the standards of a regular cinema. Nothing above and beyond to praise or not much to complain about it either. The sound quality is okay, screen sizes are decent, seats are regular, no reclining or anything of the fancy stuff. It works and I like it :
Very dirty. Trash everywhere. There was popcorn and trash all over the grounds. Behind the counter. On the counter. Popcorn was empty. Soda fridge and candy display and chip display were all empty. There was only 3 people working the consessions and they still couldn't get things together. It wasn't even busy and they couldn't keep up with 3 people in each line. Big screen. Great sound. The chairs weren't to comfy. I expected more from this hyped up theater
So. This theater is still one of my favorites. I really enjoy this one. It's always clean when I go. I always feel safe at night. There is security in the center. I also enjoy the shops around and the food options. The monthly unlimited pass definitely looks like a good deal if you are an avid movie goer. Enjoy!
I enjoy date nights here great area to have dinner and a movie, do not recommend eating at the theater as prices are outrageous for what you get. I really wish regal would bring back muddy bears as a snack option and that they had reclining seats. Overall if you purchase the 18 dollar month unlimited it is well worth it for an easy date night every week.
It was really great the theaters were cleaned properly and it wasn't super packed. Turns out they have an unlimited monthly movie pass which sounds too good to be true, but either way it seems worth it. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and will most likely end up going back and definitely going to check out that monthly movie pass!
One of the bigger theaters in Bakersfield, clean, friendly staff, and always a line at the counters. It is located in the nicer part of town and there is security always in the parking lot which makes you feel safer, especially when exiting at night. You now have to purchase your tickets at the concession stand which makes for a little more of a wait time if you didn't purchase online but you still get to see your show. Wish they had a bigger variety of candy but they do have a great selection.
The theatre itself is nice and the building on the outside looks like a fancy theatre. However, the seats and theatre rooms need to be updated immediately. There is literally no walking space to get in between the rows if your seat is in the middle and people are already sitting on the outer edges. The seats are outdated and uncomfortable and the arm rests we had had no padding on the arms. There was no clear indication of where the seats/rows are. Every time someone came in while the movie was playing they would turn on they’re phone flashlight to look for they’re seats. This theatre needs to be updated on the inside but time.
I’ve been coming to this theater for many movies but been awhile. Last one I saw was Star Wars back in ‘19 several months before lockdowns. I enjoy it but the prices of food and drink were expensive and could only imagine how much it’s gone up since inflation. Most of my experiences have been pleasant although it can get bit messy especially in later evenings, particularly on weekends when teenagers are there.
Beautiful theater, comfortable, no recliners, at least not in #14, but this was our first time so may be one of the other auditoriums has these. Concessions were good, the lines moved fast and the gentleman at the Customer Service desk was especially helpful and friendly! We recommend watching movies here and if you go regularly be sure you sign up for a Regal Crown card and download the app. It's worth your time to do this to earn discounts on concessions and free movie tickets. It doesn't take long to start receiving rewards and they have Regal theaters in most cities. We ordered $20 worth of popcorn and soft drinks but with our reward points we paid about $5!
Been going here for years. I used to go weekly, but now maybe once a month due to the selection of movies. I often miss out on good films because they have 2-3 Indian movies playing per week. The Maya and Reading have a better selection.
