District 7 operates 10 elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, and one alternative high school. It serves the communities of Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Hamel, Worden, Moro, Dorsey, and Prairietown and other rural areas within its 185 square mile boundaries.
To provide an environment that will develop all students to their fullest potential so that they will have the knowledge, skills, and behavior necessary to compete in a global economy and to exercise the rights and responsibilities of good citizenship.
