Consumer beware! As entering the store I saw a jacket on a mannequin which I liked at the time, and asked a sales person where I can find it. She said that was the only one. Then she took it off from the mannequin for me to try on. I purchased it but I changed my mind later and tried to return after a couple of weeks within the store return policy of 30 days. But they said no refund for a RENEW item and telling me that brown price tag is a RENEW item. Now I found out it was a gently worn second hand clothing on an Eileen Fisher outlet store display mannequin! At the time of purchase I even asked the sales person about store return policy, she told me it's within 30 days but never mentioned about what RENEW meant and NO REFUND for RENEW items. - fInal sale. When I was about to leave the store I told the sales person since I would not wear this jacket or give it to anybody and store does not refund I woulld give it to your store then I left . She said nothing. Eileen Fisher store MUST cleatly disclose to customers about its business/return policy on RENEW prior to payment at purchase.
Came in early today to browse. Was completely ignored. Didn’t spend a dime, and won’t be back. Avoid this location. Clearly they don’t need your money otherwise they would greet their customers.
They helped me find a piece of clothing I was looking for and sent it across the country to me - so very pleasen/ helpful and a pleasure to work with
Rudest staff ever. Always feel ignored. But today I pulled in at 4:45. Sign says open until 5. The rude female employee proceeded to lock the door right in front of me! I’m disgusted!
I drove 40 minutes to get to the store only to find that they decided to lock their doors early. There were people in the store, but they were tired and apparently wanted to go home. They didn’t even put a note on the door explaining it and just shrugged when I knocked.
No customer service at all with 3 ppl working on a Monday afternoon. I wasn't greeted or talked to. I took 8 things to the fitting room. No one asked me anything, how was it going, do you need another size, etc. And there was myself and on other customer in the store. I was going to purchase a few of the items and decided against it. I am not going to spend money at a store where they are have no customer service.
My favorite place for great women's clothing at a bargain price. I always find something in the sale room for about 75% off. Everything else is at least 20-30% below retail. Wide range of sizes, including petites and plus. Also beautiful shoes and scarves. This is a big, well-lighted store with very helpful saleswomen.
Very excited to find a company/factory store for Eileen Fisher. I was able to pick up some amazing pieces for a significant discount. I went about 1/2 hour before closing and still had an opportunity to try on clothes before purchasing. Great service!
Came to Schaumburg last month and ran out of time to visit EF store. Now, one month later while in Chicago, I drove over to Schaumburg to visit the store. Felt ignored and neglected while looking and trying on stuff. I could deal with that. But entire experience was ruined due to some likely top level employee sitting in a back room yammering on an on on a business phone call obviously about the woes of having to move clothes quick enough and being stuck with 60k of inventory if price points are off, and anniversary targets And business lingo. Why this would be in earshot of a customer debating on splurging for treasures is unknown, but it surely left me deciding not to pop for $200 EACH for my chosen items. Left it all in the fitting room, tho sadly no one noticed my departure anyway! . My visit was at about 2 pm on a Monday. The lady who roomed me was nice once, but never checked in on me again. Very different experience than my visit in 2017 which was excellent. I feel a bit guilty giving this negative review but the fun and play felt snatched unnecessarily from my visit as an out of state recurrent guest. You ladies can do better IMHO. Sorry to say, but honest. Disappointed today.
I just walked into the store and there were three woman standing at the check out socializing discussing the definition of what a narcissist is and never greeted me nor asked if I needed help. The only reason why I am giving a 1star is because I love Eileen Fisher clothing. To walk in this store every time and never be greeted based on what I look like or may appear to be makes me sad and I have finally made the decision to never return again. Train your staff people this is so sad!
