Born and raised here @1962 Still going All though the better part of 59 years You tend to forget what's in your own back yard
No frills open air theater named after one of Long Island's own... You don't go for the ambiance-- you go to sit out in the 'open air' and enjoy concerts. It's decent enough--however it is tucked in one of the most beautiful parks in the area Eisenhower Park. Yet word to the wise; make certain to 'byoc' bring your own chair otherwise you'll be standing for the duration.
The almost brothers!! One of the greatest bands on the planet. And I always love the Lakeside theater and everything around it even the Elvis Suspicious Minds guy enjoyed him with the Bee Gees tribute but nothing was more amazing than the night with the almost Brothers. Wow wow wow incredible dual drummers and dual guitarists that was mind-blowingly amazing
There are free concerts being held throughout the summer 2022! They have all sorts of genres of music as well as different types of performances, like musicals and plays. It is the perfect place to bring your kids, see a free concert, enjoy the beautiful Eisenhower Park, and of course the wonderful summer weather. I would say it's even a great place for a date or to spend time with friends or family.
Beautiful open lawn with plenty of space. Very relaxing in a beautiful park - beautiful area - good facilities. There is shade off to the side towards the rear. Bring your folding chair .
Watched the Gin Blossoms. Great venue. So organized with parking and traffic. Special thanks to the County Executive, Parks Department and Nassau County Police for a great job.
Here for the Joan Jett concert! Great night and a great Nassau resident performer!
A beautiful outdoor venue to experience all sorts of entertainment for young and old alike. The summer concert series always has a good line-up of acts and music.
