El Acapulco Mexican Restaurant

First time there, the food was great, service was ok, seems like we waited along time between ordering, eating, and waiting on the check, but overall it was a good experience, and our waiter was nice just wasn’t around much, and they weren’t that busy at all! So I would say try it just expect to be there awhile

I can see why no one was eating here. Prices are good but the “top shelf” margarita was the worst I’ve had in my life. It tasted like dirty lime soda water. The skirt steak for fajitas was curled up and I could barely chew through it. The ceiling had foam spray coating, fountain didn’t work, and the wall tiling near my table was unfinished on the edges and cut me

The food was great...the cheese sauce was either not mixed real well or not heated enough...because it hardened really fast! The frozen strawberry margarita was pretty yick. I let my waiter know...but never got a new one and still got charged for it no, it wasn't drank. All in all though, one of my favorite places to eat! Usually don't have any problems or complaints!

Went today and it was ok, and I hadn’t been in years due to the food not being flavorful. The food was still the exact same way. There was way too much grease. Our server came by maybe 3 times. A friend had an issue with their food tasting bad, and the waitress was argumentative saying “it was cooked fresh,” and walked off mid-conversation. Items were wrong despite telling the waitress what we wanted along with the size. I will not be back as there are better options to eat at in Cape. Don’t waste your money or time here.

Love this place, I've never had a bad experience. The best margaritas and prices in town compared to 3 other places in Cape I've been. Fast and affordable and always friendly. Definitely recommend. Vegetarian options: They have a whole section on the menu catered to vegetarians.

First time I’ve ever eaten here. Came in right after they opened the doors. Ordered the burrito grande with steak. The steak was still cold, super dry, even the flour tortilla was hard to chew. Couldn’t get the knife to cut the bottom side of the burrito because it was burnt.

Place was good enough..met a buddy for a bit..absolutely nothing special..same old style and flavor of American americanized Mexican food but it worked..service was good and it was lively and loud so..worth a shot if your out and about Parking: Easy in and out..plenty of spaces

Nice staff, terrible food, terrible service. Came on taco Tuesday for the $1.25 tacos, I guess you get what you pay for… tacos were dry. Gave me 2 limes 8 quarters for 12 tacos between me and 1 other. The tacos were so dry that they really needed a whole lime squeezed per taco. Waitress was very nice and caring but forgot to change out our chips or ask if we wanted more water so how caring are they really?? I still tipped 30% because my bill was $16 for 12 tacos and I’m a nice person. I gave this place a chance but it was definitely a miss. Will never be back again.

Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. El Acapulco at Poplar Bluff is good. This wasn’t even edible. Very disappointed!
