El Bronco Mexican Restaurant

The cashier was very helpful very friendly. She made a suggestion and to what to get or what I liked. The atmosphere was nice it was very clean and seemed to be a pleasant place. But my carnitas burrito was not flavorful at all. The meat was boiled and then flash fried, no seasoning at all, not even salt, but came with tons of fresh salsa which made the burrito watery and maybe 7 1/4in pieces of chopped pork in the 6in whole burrito. It was pretty much a pico burrito with a taste of meat. Very dissapointed in the food and portion size. But excellent customer service.

The woman who is always here during the day is SO LOVELY. I live on Camp Pendleton, and when I want tacos, I come here specifically. Good prices, fast service, never too crazy busy I get anxious around huge crowds, and these tacos don't make me sick like other more expensive places do. I always get the carne asada tacos with everything on them, rice & beans...and their green salsa. So.Good.

DOUBLED prices since covid! Certainly better fast food restaurants with tastier foods and not priced to make up for $ lost during the pandemic. Parking: fast food-duh!

I usually love this place. But the lady I spoke to was a little rude. I just learned they don’t make your order fresh for you because I placed my order at 4:18. Called at 4:19 to make a change & she told me the order was done & they couldn’t change it. That was sooo weird. Idk if I will be going back & they might not even treat me nicely if I do.

I have been going to El bronco for over thirty years and the same sweet lady is always there to greet me and make me some homemade Mexican food, this is the closest that I can find to home-made Mexican food north of the border. Que rica y gracias para todo!!! And those carniasada fries, por dios!!!!

Compared to Oscars this place is more expensive and not as good. Don’t get me wrong this place is aight, but one taco is like 6 or 7 bucks. The fries are pretty crispy here. But if you can, drive to Oscars in San Diego that place is much better. I got the 1 tortas, 3 tacos and 1 carne asada fries and it was like $53. Hella overpriced. Go to Oscars and you won’t regret it

Ordered some carne asada fries They were only 5 pieces of carne inside I basically got a box of fries with sour cream and cheese Was looking forward to it… disappointed

The chef cooks with delicious seasons for the carne asada. The taco bowls are delicious.Food: 5/5

Food is great. Their portions tend to be really big. I couldn’t even finish my California Burrito. I love their seafood soups either fish or shrimp I have had both even. Check out their menudo too. Big portions. I love coming here on my lunch.
