El Burrito Mexican Restaurant

I’ve heard about this place a few times but never gotten around to trying it - can definitely say that I was pleasantly surprised. The prices are equivalent to other smaller Mexican restaurants in town, but the portion sizing is definitely larger. Got beef and chicken on both plates and didn’t regret it - each item was flavorful. The chips got soggy a bit fast, but that’s because they had 3lbs of beef, chicken, and cheese sitting on them lol.

I spent over $42.00 and could not believe the small amount of food I received. I asked how much was this white queso she said it’s $5.99. If I we’re dining in I would have received more than a small cup. I also asked for more salsa since they only gave one small cup. She said there’s an extra charge. Again, if I was dining in I would have not had to pay extra for salsa. Save your money and go some where else. The food was mediocre at best!

The El Burrito Loco Restaurant is a colorful designed and well managed Mexican Restaurant. The service was amazingly friendly and treated us superfast. We ordered, after the Greetings-Nachos for free, more of them with Guacamole, Salsa and cheese dips. Main courses were the Chimichangas. Accompanied all by enormous Magratias. The food is good, but in my understanding it is too much underseasoned. And that is coming from a bavarian stale-tongue. Close to no heat, no herbs, no smoky flavors: If the cooks find the spice rack, the food and the experience will be amazing.

Usually El Burrito Loco is really good. We have ordered from there a few times. This last time they gave the Uber driver the wrong order, which I know they are both responsible for. So we ordered it again. This time, my food came with a leaf in it. From outside. Not a seasoning leaf. Which ended up in my mouth because I didn't see it. Needless to say, that didn't end well for me.

The Good: Ordered a Burrito which was delivered very quickly. Our server was pleasant and helpful and kept our drinks refilled. The food was excellent. The Bad: The portions were not as generous as we've found at other local Mexican Restaurants, despite the prices being slightly on the pricy side. The Ugly: Halfway through our meal the delicious smells of our food were challenged and overpowered by a potent chemical smell. Shortly thereafter we saw a mop bucket rolled by and identified the source of the smell as that of the cleaning chemicals being used in the mop water - pleasant enough on its own but completely incompatible with our continued enjoyment of our meal. The server kindly moved the mop bucket around the corner after we mentioned how it was affecting the taste of our meal, but as he just moved it around the corner, it continued to cancel all the effort that had gone into the creation of our otherwise excellent meal.

Love the food but can't give it 5 stars. Never had a good experience with service. Always seams like you are an inconvenience to them and they just want you to leave as soon as you can. Well kind off considering we had to chase someone down for a bill multiple times because they never come back with it. I guess we ahould of seen that coming because they dont refill drinks either on a consistent basis. We just ask for a seat by the bar now so we can get our own. Been about a dozen times and felt the same way almost everytime. No change back policy is odd but could be understandable if they didnt just get snippy about it like you are the problem because you don't understand a policy that litterally no one else does. Outside that the food is great and why we keep going back. Still feel it is worth the service issues, maybe some day they will turn over the staff enough and finally get some people that like working there. Parking is good and feels like a typical Mexican resteraunt. Quest is outstanding and so is about everything on the menu. Drinks are always on point as well as the bartenders are always great. Food was perfect. Service was good, however we did wait for our server a bit. Which is ok. We showed up a little late and understood is was getting to be that time of night. Drinks were delicious, food was hot and wonferfulFood: 5/5

We ordered delivery from here yesterday. I ordered a quesadilla with veggies instead of a protein inside since I'm a vegetarian. Well that was a huge mistake! They sautéed the veggies and just threw them in the tortilla. No cheese at all, no frying the tortilla so it was a little crispy. My tortilla was oily and so soggy I didn't finish it. Then the rice that I asked for as a side had little to no flavor and was cold. I usually like El Burrito locations but this specific location has left me unhappy several times.

I ordered pickup of an order of five. I drive 4.5 miles to pick up some well thought out delicious Mexican meal for my family. When I say well thought out, I don't waste my money on no good food and who I support. I visit this location, but this tipped me over to review about this food when I am hungry. Once I got there, checkout and everything was great. Until I get home and I noticed the most important meal was my own. So I quick have a rang back stating I didn't receive my second order out of two shrimp tacos with bean and rice. Sure, I'm hungry, I'll go pick it up while my family is devouring their food. I get back to picking up my food, and of course, made it feel like I was waiting on fresh food. Gave me an apology and gave me a $5 gift card to come back. What upsets me is that I was asked to wait and my shrimps in my taco looked like in photos posted. It wasn't juicy nor fresh tasting. Over cooked and chewy. The crunchy taco was stale!!! I would've been happy if my shrimp wasn't $22 and made undercooked would've been better!!! Also, my son had the same shrimp taco as me $22, when I finally had the chance to ask him how his meal was, he said his shrimp was rubbery and crunchy taco was stale. He's a kid, he'll eat it anyway. I was too busy leaving the house to go pick up my food. Which you already know about my food. Then my husband's steak ranchero was rubbery as well. You tell me, hit it or miss...

Didn't catch our servers name and he didn't introduce him self. I felt as though he was rushing us and to ignore us after that. Didn't offer suggestions on the menu, and didn't offer us desert. Bathrooms were clean, loved all the decor and the food was good.Food: 5/5
