This place has been recommended for a while and finally gave it a try. I can say the food was some of the best Mexican I’ve had in a long time. It was fresh and delicious. Fajita burrito was so good, definitely would recommend it. The service could use a little help. It felt as if we were a nuisance to them and they had a little bit of a salty attitude. Hopefully it was an off day and next time will be a better experience with the staff Parking: This is inside a hotel, so the parking lot was very full and I had to find street parking
Ranchito 2 was so pleased when I asked if I could bring my singing chorale in for dinner 3 weeks in advance. A written request of the date, time, contact phone number and how many really helps the management and servers. We had about 26 people. After our concert we came in to eat and we were met with thoughtful, caring servers that were patient and smiling. We are so grateful to Ranchitos. The food was DELICIOUS! Thank you for letting us celebrate with our "afterglow" dinner at Ranchitos!
I give it 4 because this most recent time we went the wait was said to be 30 minutes, but it was about an hour to 1.5 hours. They then focused on getting tables out before at least taking our orders. Other wise, this place is typically amazing. Dietary restrictions: One of us is gluten free and she had shredded chicken on a corn tortilla. Parking: It’s also a hotel, but other area parking is near by. Kid-friendliness: There was a grass area near by for the 5 kids to play while we waited. They don’t have a way to tell anybody me their table is ready though.
Ranchito #2 is a good place to grab a casual meal with the family or a friend. Located in the hotel, the restaurant does a good job with decor, helping it feel like a separate location tather than feeling like you're eating in a hotel. Everything is bright and colorful, and the live plants in the windows and between sections give it a welcoming feel. The chips were thick and the salsa good. I was surprised at the number of vegetarian options, and thankful they were listed in one place. I got the veggie burrito, and it was HUGE and delicious. Also pictuted: combo plates, spinach burrito, and the free dessert we received so good. Why only 4 stars? While the food was good and there servers nice, the food wasn't spectacular. One of my dining companions had chile relleno that was cold in the middle. After we finished eating, we had to wait awhile for the check, even though the restaurant was near empty by that point. Overall, I would likely go back.
I ordered chicken fajitas. They were served on a plate instead of sizzling on a cast iron plate. No big deal just unusual and they tasted fine however, my husband ordered two beef burritos, the beef tasted like canned corn beef hash. We're not above the canned beef, we just don't expect it to be served when dining in at a restaurant. We did question them and they denied it being canned beef. Let's be real, canned beef has a distinctive taste. They took the plate and removed it from our check. We paid our check, tipped our server, and left immediately. They did offer to replace his plate but we lost all trust.
Ordered online. I was told 25 minutes. Got there after 15 and my food had been sitting out on a table by the door. Food was luke warm, VERY bland, and my husband's order of "loaded beef nachos" was chips with melted cheddar cheese and nothing else. Very disappointed. Threw all the food out.Food: 1/5
Best Mexican restaurant this side of the cascades. I ordered the Enchilada de Mole and it was some of the best mole I’ve had. Their pico de gallo was perfect and wasn’t too wet, salsa wasn’t bland at all, and it was the most pleasant bill I’ve ever paid for a meal. Was my first time here definitely won’t be the last. Vegetarian options: They were available on the menu Parking: Lots of parking Kid-friendliness: Seems very family oriented
Food is always great and quick, and the best Mexican food around the only reason it's not perfect is that it gets a little loud.Food: 5/5
Ridiculously delicious! We get take out from here often. The portions are large and the food is so good. The staff is always kind and totally on top of everything, efficient. This photo is of my leftovers.
Fresh, hot, delicious chimichangas and burrito. Pleasant ambiance, quick service.
