Secret Netflix stand up filming for Adam Sandler's special at the El Rey. My girlfriend and I come out in the special. We are seated in the 2nd row on the left side facing the stage. Or 2nd row right side facing audience. Btw, the sandman is hilarious. Got to meet him after the special. Great guy
Great live music spot in Los Angeles. Cool vibe and always enough space to watch a show.
I really liked this spot. Now I'm no sound or music expert but it didn't sound the best. Whether it was because of the venue or the band, I wouldn't know. But I did like that they had a smoking area outside by the entrance for us foul creatures. Getting in was easy and hassle free. Parking is a bit rough. You're gunna wanna ride share or drive down a few blocks next to the apartments for free parking. If not they have a few suggestions on the website where you can pay and park.
saw 'Figgmunity' live at the El Rey. easy entry and friendly security staff. One of the if not the best live show I've ever seen! yernnnnna
You should be sad if you missed the kick off tour for a Better than Ezra. It was good.
The venue is beautiful! First time going there and it was great! Everyone from the security crew to the bar crew and the restroom attendants were super nice! So ok, I went specifically for Light Asylum because I just love them! Especially Shannon! I couldn't believe I was in the same room with her! I love her vibe, her voice, and energy and of course her music!!! The other bands was my first time seeing them but OMG !!! I wasn't ready for such awesomeness!!! I hope more bands of this genre and even clubs continue to be invited to this venue! They closed The Monte Cristo but I just found a proper replacement with this one haha! Oh I love it!
It's an intimate venue with a capacity of about 700. Its decor is mostly red with large jeweled chandeliers and ornate sconces. The workers keep a walking space nice and open throughout the show. The lighting and sound are well done. Bring ear plugs if you're over 30.
Cute theater and plenty of street parking nearby. Parts of the floor are elevated too so it's easy get a good view performers. The only concern is the staff was extremely pushy and rude! They were yelling at everyone to leave only five minutes after the curtains closed and yelling at people to leave.
I sent a message the night before our concert about requesting ADA seating. They responded quickly and were very accommodating. That meant a lot to me - I definitely reached out last minute. I loved that they enforced a fire lane on the side of the crowd it made me feel safe. Also the venue was beautiful!
Went to watch an artist there and officially met the most rude staff I’ve ever seen in my life. These people are the epitome of entitlement. I thought TSA was bad oh no no this place will make you love TSA. The security there is trash shouting non stop at every single thing any person does, throwing men and women around. Kicking people out of vip that have vip credentials. They just shout and grab people before even asking anything or checking credentials, like relax dude this isn’t a wrestlemania people come here to enjoy themselves.
