Had lunch on Wednesday 8/16. Food was very good. Ordered the street tacos, I got the brisket and my wife got the chicken. Both were excellent. So good that when they were brought to the table, I forgot to take a picture for posting, just started eating . You will just have to enjoy the picture of the chips and salsa. Waitress was super friendly and happy . Very rare to see this cheerful type personality at most restaurants in today's world. Only wish that I had remembered her name so that I could have provided personal recognition.
Coming from the Southwest, we usually don't go to many Mexican restaurants east of Texas, but we had a craving, so we tried El Tejado. We're so sorry we did. I ordered the Combination A, which came with a taco, cheese enchilada, rice, and beans. Hubby ordered the Flautas Mexicana. The food was dry and bland, and our waiter didn't even check back with us. When we went up to pay, he was just standing around talking with the other servers. Wish we could say the drinks were at least good, but they tasted like they were mixed with a cheap margarita mix. Live and learn.
Food was decent, not the best Mexican food. If you need a fox it will definitely do.Food: 3/5
Traveling back to Florida from Chicago, craving Mexican. Stopped here, glad we did! Chicken street tacos with the salsa, hot sauce, lime and some sour cream added to them. Simply amazing. Waiter was around as we needed him, but wasn't hovering. Place full of locals enjoying themselves. Great food, great staff, lovely atmosphere. Place was also quite clean.
An amazing Mexican restaurant!! The food here is top notch! The salsa is amazing and the food portions are large! And the prices are absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this place!!!
Not from this area, but pleasantly surprised at this place. Was very full of what seemed to be locals, but is a large place and I was seated immediately. Large menu, food is fairly basic Tex mex style, but everything I had was excellent and a good value. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a hearty meal.Food: 5/5
The food was excellent and the service was great. Eating outside on the patio is less than to be desired as you hear the freeway traffic. Even with that said the patio is very nicely decorated and the temperatures were perfect for us to be outside so despite hearing the traffic we still enjoyed the outside dining. I would definitely eat here again as we travel through the area.
The best hands down I’ve had my entire life! We were passing through and decided to try this place! So glad we did!! Now I just need y’all to bring this to Florida! The chips and salsa was great! Spicy dip but great! The cheese they used on the quesadilla was AMAZING! The grilled chicken was AMAZING! All of it was AMAZING! I was full and couldn’t help but to just finish it! I just had to keep tasting it! I wish we lived closer I would definitely be eating here A LOT! Awesome staff!! Very nice waitress!! 10
Amazing. I’m traveling w 3 kids under the age of five. Alicia put the kids order in first so they had plenty of time to eat!. The food was delicious! Everyone was friendly. I’ll definitely be stopping back by here anytime I’m traveling through the area! Parking: Easy to get in and off of the interstate!
Decent experience but nothing amazing. Long wait to be seated and the servers weren’t that attentive, even though there were quite a few empty tables around. Chips and salsa were pretty good. Cheese dip had some heat to it - peppers or something that were put into it - which isn’t really my thing and it wasn’t stated on the menu. I got the Texas Allen Special, which was okay but not great. The cheese that was on top was thick and congealed and it didn’t cover the whole entree. Overall, it did in a pinch while passing through Forsyth but I wouldn’t hurry back.
