Loved working with AES. I hired them to install a Tesla wall charger at my employers home. Chris was very easy to work with and made everything understandable. The bid went so well at the 1st house I hired them for more work at my other employers home. The gentlemen he has working for him, Ricardo, Angel and Marcos were also very knowledgeable and got the job done as promised and on time. They even cleaned up perfectly! The customer service this company provided us was exceptional! Chris was always one call away with any concerns or questions I may have had and even showed up on site to make sure things were going smoothly. Can’t wait to use this company again or refer them on!
I had a top notch experience working with AES. They provided both the best estimate for the job, and the most thorough explanation and discussion about what needed done and what would be possible. Communication was great throughout the whole process and they followed through on all dates and commitments. I generally got the sense that they are a down to earth group of people that produce great quality work. They added a sub panel to a shop for me and I was very happy with the result as well as the whole process to get there. I would recommend them all day long. Easy 5 stars.
Can lights were installed throughout the house and on the deck with dimmer switches, as well as outdoor outlet, over cabinet lighting, ceiling fan w/light fixture, etc, for thousands of dollars. Now the dimmer switch is bad and I have psychedelic lights blinding me in the great room. I called Adv Electric but was told they had NO ONE to come fix/replace this until next year 2022. I had called earlier in the year to have an outlet added after all the other installation was done but was told then that it would be 3-6 months before anyone would be available. So, once the installation is done, you cannot ever expect that you will be able to have them back for anything. It is like one and done - FOREVER! Just so you know!Services: Fan installation
Called about getting a quote on installing a 240V outlet in my garage for charging my Tesla. Chris came out the next business day to give me a quote, which was in line with what I had received elsewhere, and I decided to schedule for installation the next week. However, a job their main person with Tesla experience was supposed to do the day I got my quote got rained out and they were able to complete the installation for me that afternoon! Although I was just getting a 240V outlet to use with the provided 32A travel charger, they offered to set it up with Tesla's required specs in case I eventually get the slightly higher-amp Tesla wall charger. I had a great experience -- very polite and professional workers. And I appreciated the super straightforward and reasonable no-surprises cost I paid exactly what was quoted. Waiting only 5 hours between getting the quote and having the work completed was a nice bonus! Thanks, guys!!
They installed under cabinet lighting and an outlet in July 2020. The under cabinet lighting lasted about a year and now the LEDs flicker or dim. Called AES, warranty expired. Had no idea we could only expect these lights to work for a year, or we’d have never paid to have it done. AES is booked til December. Was referred to other electricians by the receptionist.Services: Installation
Purchase whole home backup generator. Everyone is professional and friendly, especially Jason who has kept us informed I rmed all the way. Generator should be installed this month. Great company to work with. We highly recommend them.
I have used this company since I moved into my 100+ year old house in 2014. I made the mistake of opening up my basement ceiling and realizing I had more knob and tube than what we originally thought. I say this because the previous owners had electrians tie new wiring into the old knob and tube in closets instead of running new wiring all the way to the basement panel. I asked numerous electrical companies to come and give me a bid to redo my entire house and AES was the only company that returned with a bid and would return my calls. I knew this was not going to be a cheap job and by no means was it cheap... going through lathe and plaster and rerunning a whole house of electrical. Chris is amazing to work with and if I have/had any questions/concerns he would listen and work with me on anything. I will continue to use this company now and in the future! Highly recommend!
Called AES because of great reviews. We needed some electrical work in our kitchen. The guy who came out to bid the job couldn’t have been nicer. Very reasonable bid and about $300 lower than another bid we got. We got the bid in writing and scheduled a day for the work. The guy who came on the day of work was also very nice. However, when he came out, he appeared to be looking everything over and asking the same questions we’d gone over with the first guy. He finally advised that the quote was wrong. It didn’t include some necessary steps and the cost would be higher. We were fine with that and just wanted an accurate bid. We did mention that we had another bid, which was higher, and the reason we chose AES was because they were lower. So he came in with a bid that was roughly the same as our other bid. We agreed to it and he said he could “throw in” some things we mentioned that we wanted because of all the confusion. We thought everything was fine. But then the guy wouldn’t return our phone calls to set up a day for the job. And he still hasn’t returned any calls. We’ve since gotten someone else to do the work so it all worked out but it doesn’t seem like a good way to do business. We completely understand if the job wasn’t a money maker for them and would’ve been fine with them saying that but to just stop communication seems unprofessional.
Very pleased. Contacted me thru Angie's list quickly. Came out and gave a bid when they said they would. $3500 job and was inline with all other bids. Decision to use was based on ifI liked working with the lead electrician. Scheduled quickly. On time for the service work and got it done very, very professionally. Neatest electrical job I have had - didn't have to ask them to clean up or make everything neat. Have scheduled 3 other service items to have completed. Highly recommend.
I called advanced electrical services when my power went out after a storm. They sent someone out right away. The electrician was very helpful and explained everything to me and showed me what had happened. He fixed it the same day and gave me the exact cost before he started the work. I will never use another electrical company again, advanced electrical services is the only way to go.
