This page is maintained by the Elizabeth Park Conservancy, a non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining, restoring, and preserving historic Elizabeth Park for today's visitors and future generations.
The Elizabeth Park Conservancy are stewards of a legacy providing free heritage programming, free concerts, and beautiful horticultural gardens for the public to enjoy as it was intended. It is our mission to presesrve and restore the park to its original beauty. The Rose Garden alone costs over $75,000 each year to maintain. That is paid for by individual donors, corporate sponsorship and grants.
The entire park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and can not be torn down or altered.
The Park also features the Pond House Cafe which is open all year long and serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. The facility also features a banquet hall for various functions that holds approximately 200 people. Call 860-231-8823 or visit pondhousecafe.com for more information.
