Absolutely love this place. The books are well-organized and the staff is extremely helpful. The atmosphere itself is also great. 10/10 do recommend.

Public libraries are one of the few spaces left in the world where you can just exist and aren't expected to buy anything. Ours here in Elizabethton is no exception. They have a wonderful selection of books and media and the staff are very helpful.

I'm not from this area, however I needed to send a fax and a friend recommended the library. I was greeted promptly and by a friendly, professional young man. He advised me which counter could help me. The other young man was friendly and professional as well and proceeded to send my fax and completed the task perfectly. I was impressed at the book and movie selection available to rent and buy. The library was very well kept and organized, allowing for a comfortable experience.

I love our small town library. Everyone is friendly and so helpful. This place is my escape from every day life.

Quiet relaxing place with lots of books , organization of some sections takes getting used to but its not bad and the staff are willing to help. They have a few shelves of books for sale, hardbacks are $1  and paperbacks are 50¢. They also have computers and copy services.

We've always had a pleasant experience at the library.  Maybe it's just the time during the day we go, but have never had a problem with loud noise, etc.  Very helpful staff and if they don't have the book you're looking for, they will borrow it from another library, if possible. Great place.

Hannah, Mary Ann, Joe, Charley and Kyle well,  everyone, more accurately are always a great help and fun to talk to when I visit. Always smiles and laughter when I take my family. Thank you all for an awesome library experience. I hope to become a Friend of Carter County Library soon.

Use to be a good experience, not anymore.  My question is when is the library going to re-open to the public?  Other libraries opened a long time ago.  What is the problem?  Have asked previously, no answer.  Really would have to rate them 0 stars.
