I took my dog here a couple weeks ago because she couldn’t control her bladder anymore. Being an old dog I figured it was just old age or possibly a UTI. After meeting with the doctor she told me that she believed moo was in kidney failure. She said she could run a bunch of tests rack up a huge bill and not be able to prolong her life or I could schedule to have her be put down. A week later I came back to have moo put down. The staff was super nice, let me stay as long I wanted to and assured me moo would be taken care of at the pet sanctuary where they throw the ashes. A couple weeks later I get this wonderful card in the mail with her paw print, nose print and handwritten notes inside a card from the staff. Highly recommend this vet! I may have not had much interaction with them but what I did have was above and beyond!
I understand appointments such as vet appointments can run long, but I had to wait 50 minutes before I was taken back to a room and it was past an hour until I saw the vet. I know cats can be unpredictable but it’s a bit sad to see the way they manhandle your pet. My old vet is an hour away and I think I’d rather go there.
Pet Owners: Please BEWARE! Dr. Distler spayed our completely healthy 10 month old puppy. The next day, she had excessive bleeding. Dr. Distler refused to see our dog at 2 o'clock in the AFTERNOON! Refered us to an emergency veterinarian. The entire surgery had to be repeated! Dr. Distler then agreed to pay for that service, but then the next day REFUSED to pay any part of this bill. BEWARE
Dr. Distler is amazing. She is very particular with her work. She did an amazing job on my bulldogs eyes. I would recommend her to anyone w any complex issues w their pets. She is up front and honest. Love her and the staff are great as well. Very easy going and take time to answer questions. Great place.
really great staff, kept me occupied and made me feel really welcomed when my dear starling got euthanized. was a very sad day but they made me feel okay! great people, come here when you need to!
READ THIS!!!! If I could give this place ZERO STARS I WOULD!!! The service was AWFUL! Dr. Distler REFUSED to send xrays of my dog to another vet so I had to pay for more!! AND told me nothing was wrong with her, and when I brought her to the next vet, found out she had a BRAIN TUMOR the size of a golfball!!!! Now she's dead and it's because Dr. Distler does not care about your pets. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
The staff & owner are extremely rude & unprofessional. During an interview there the owner mentioned that she doesn’t like pit bulls nor does she like to treat them.
Great priced vet visit- Dr. Janet Distler was extremely professional and caring for our baby gray kitty. Her staff was courteous and great with our pet. They have extremely clean facilities also. Thank you once again.
Our now old vet wouldn't schedule us with a two week notice to get shots updated and get some tranqs to help our dog relax. After they failed to let us know she her shots needed updated. Even though we had been in the office. Etown Animal scheduled us within 3 days of calling and all shots updated, and tranqs filled. The Vet we saw was awesome and really nice. Glad our sweetie goes here now.
