Purchased a few items of memorabilia from ebay and was listed as "delivered to individual" on the online description. Nobody was here at my house, and my ring camera proved that Mail was only placed in my mailbox. This situation has happened 7 times now. Do not trust the mail carriers who are obviously stealing packages and padded envelopes!
The staff here is always quick and kind. I went in a lot to send packages overseas to my husband and they were very helpful with getting my package ready for customs. They also did a great job helping me with sending my wedding invitations and getting my husband and I our passports. It’s a great feeling walking in and getting recognized by the staff, I always appreciate that about them. The kiosk and drop off are very convenient for quick tasks and the lobby is always spotless.
The amount of times the mailman has just skipped my whole street is ridiculous. USPS doesn't care that their employees don't do their jobs. You can tell how much leadership cares by how they handle negative reviews.. these people don't even respond to try and make it right. They don't care because there isn't competition.
Real bad about lying about why a package isn’t being delivered. Told me before 8am that my mailbox was full, I then checked and had nothing in my mailbox, my package was just around 22 pounds so I don’t see how they would have put it in my mailbox in the first place.
Packages routed to the wrong city or town out of this office is common. I get a lot of parcel deliveries and there have been many times that a package has been traveling with no issue until it arrives in E-town, and then it suddenly goes elsewhere for a day or two, even though I live in E-town. Also, my driver likes to scan packages as having been delivered but then they don't show for a day or two. I assume this is done so the USPS gets credit for on time delivery when they are actually behind. I understand if a package is going to be late, but don't lie and say it's delivered when it isn't. Damaged mail is also common. Letters that clearly say "do not bend" are folded and stuffed into the mailbox instead of dropped at my door, mail is crammed into the box even when there isn't much mail, almost like the carrier is trying to damage it on purpose, and items are often ripped or opened upon delivery. My carrier also has a habit of yanking the mailbox doors open in my neighborhood. I can't tell you how many mailboxes have had the door ripped half off by the carrier including my box. UPS, FedEx, LaserShip Amazon, etc. all put the USPS to shame.
The absolute worst post office I’ve ever had to deal with. They gave me a final notice as a first noticethank you ring camera, they never tried to redeliver after I scheduled it and it was accepted, and once it was sent for the second time they never tried to deliver it. That’s just insane to me.
Picked up my package at my door for a return by mail with no problem
I'm missing a $1,200 check from my work. It was mailed out on Dec 14 from Cincinnati Ohio with 3-5 day shipping. It's the 29th now and still have no clue where the check is. I've called and was only told. It's probably running behind or delayed do to the holidays or weather. I'm questioning that some. My daughter received her Christmas present from her grandparents that live in AZ. They mailed it Dec 16th and we received it on the 22nd. They also used 3-5 day shipping. So now I'll have to file a claim with my work. Along with waiting another 30 days before they can issue another check per their policy. By then will be to late because I'm being evicted. That check was my rent for December. Update 12/30/22 was told by USPS that they have no where it is. I should just wait that it'll show up eventually. Well the issue is I don't have the time to wait. That was money for my December rent. So who's going to cover rent for me???
Wish I could give 0 stars. Actually horrible, our experience is the same as many others here- stolen gift cards, damaged packages, etc. Nothing to do about it since the Etown area has no alternative. And they know it. There will be no change to the post office policies because their is no competition. Honestly horrible.
I sell a lot of merchandise from my residence and quite frequently have to have my mail orders picked up from my location. I have never had an issue with this service until 2022. I am only assuming, but believe the carrier has changed from the previous years. I had a pickup scheduled for Thursday, I sat the order out on the front porch for the carrier to pick up. This order sat on my porch all day into the evening, I'm lucky it wasn't stole. When I check my email for an update on the pickup request nothing was update in their system. I shrugged this off, thinking it could have been a mistake on my part. I scheduled another pickup for Friday and placed the packages on the porch once again. The packages once again sat on my porch all day into the evening. I once again checked my email for an update which stated the packages were picked up by the carrier. This obviously was not the case, so I rescheduled the pickup for that Saturday. I was at home this particular Saturday, so I watched for the carrier. They arrived while I was in the restroom, delivered my mail and started to drive away, they stopped for a brief second at my driveway, then continued down the road. I received an update on my email stating the packages were once again picked up. This wouldn't be a huge issue if I didn't rely so heavily on the service for my sales. If I had time to take them to the post office on a daily or bidaily basis I would, but I am a very busy person which relies on an honest and reliable carrier, I currently do not have that. Also, tried multiple times to reach out to the post office via the number on their website, I have yet to get an answer. If I had another option I would certainly use it, but nothing else is viable for the shipping cost.
