Overall a very nice place to buy your fishing supplies. People were really friendly and polite.
Very friendly people. Plenty of choices for a tiny place. Highly recommend.
Friendly folks , nice assortment of fishing, & crabbing gear.
Decent bait and tackle shop. The man working was friendly. They had the bait that I was looking for and the price seemed way, way better than most other places. They don't have the largest selection of tackle that I've seen, but there's enough that you can find something that should get the job done for you.
Best bait shop in South Cecil County
I've been going to Sarge's as long as I can remember. My parents used to get pretty much all of their fishing needs here and now I do as well. Everyone is extremely friendly and treat you like they've known you for years even though it's your first time walking in the door! They are always on the up and up when it comes to good fishing holes and what is the best bait or lure to use, very knowledgeable. And they do have merchandise other than just fishing. I highly recommend Sarge's even if it's just to chit chat!!
Great people, store has lots of stuff for its size. Also fresh cut bait. Prices are compatible with the market. Drove 30 minutes to get terminal tackle that no one local had. Worth the trip and will return
I have been shopping hear for all of my life, almost 30 years, and am sad to see what it is now. Supplies dwindled, rarely restocking popular items and a majority of the staff is not very helpful not knowing what products they stock and when asking them a question it seems like the answering of said inquiry is a burden or they just say "all we have is right there" even when the items you are asking about is unrelated to the items on the rack you are standing in front of, at times it feels like they don't even listen to whats being asked. Needless to say Molly's and Cabelas isn't so far away and for now on that is where I will be taking my business. It is sad to see what was such a good business fall so far simply because they are the only "game in town". Some people may put up with that type of business strategy but most won't. So word of warning, Sarge's is probably just a waste of your time. I mean a sporting outfitter that carries the bare minimum and where you can't even get 00 buckshot during hunting season is less stocked then even my own home is. What a shame.
Sarge's does a great job with keeping bait in stock and setting you up with what is biting. Friendly people and a good neighborhood bait shop.
I like the store repair rods a reels. Knowledgeable people work there all kinds of lures and rigs. They know we're the fish are and will talk fishing to you. Grandsons love the store
