We are new to Moore County and have only eaten out twice so far. This was our second restaurant that came highly recommended from family and socials. We ordered one appetizer and two entrees. The scallops were the best I believe we have ever had and we get them very often when we're at higher end places. My husband ordered the chicken and waffle entree and I had the lamb ragu. The chicken and waffle had a variety of flavors with all of them making each bite even more satisfying! Unfortunately, the lamb ragu was lacking or a better word, vapid. The only distinct flavor was the taste of the mushroom. Otherwise the lamb, noodle, nor sauce couldn't be identified as anything diffrent other than the texture of each on its own. I'm not sure if bland is what you are looking for in an entree, but if so, this would be it. Our waiter was amazing and very attentive to the table.
My first time here and everything was great! Our server was awesome! Shout out to Garrett! He was on point with service! Patient with our table and ensure we were taken care of. 10/10 recommend anyone to stop here if you’re around. The food was amazing! Everything was so fresh and packed with flavors that melts in your mouth! Thank you to the kitchen and staff for making my birthday dinner the great experience it was! Parking: If you’re coming to your RSVP, come a bit early to get your parking. It gets packed quick!
Updated ** Seasonal fall menu. Get you some of those triple cooked French fries! I enjoyed the pork chops. My husband had Salmon. Drink of the night... Sand in your toes with a salt/pepper rim ! Try it!Food: 5/5
I took a break from Elliot’s for a while post pandemic… but am happy to have returned. Our food was well prepared hot and well paced. The staff came around to make sure we were happy, and even recommended a change for the better in my martini!!! Pictured is a Blackberry Cosmo!!… yum!! The “chicken and waffles” selection was upscale and with a hint of Spiciness!!! I’ll be coming back! A little pricey, but a good meal!!
We went to Elliotts on Linden as part of a two couple date the weekend before Valentines. We came to a very tight parking area but we're lucky to find a spot midway the front. We were seated shortly after our 7:30 reservation. The server Emanuel went to the first couple and ordered what we thought were drinks which we ordered as well. There was no recommendations or anything I would expect at a high end restaurant. Shortly after ordering what we thought were drinks, appetizers came to the table which I thought was an accident. The other couple told us that he had asked them about appetizers which he never mentioned to us. We were finally able to get his attention and order our appetizers. We finally were brought the table biscuits and when our server set them down, he broke the cocktail glass of the other party at the table and had to remake the drink. We then proceeded to order our food which was all delicious and gorgeously prepared. Shortly after 9, Emanuel skipped past our table finally and said because we ordered medium well, our food was taking longer to cook. At 9:17 exactly after noticing most of the restaurant cleared out, I asked a woman cleaning a table beside us what time did they close as we still did not have food. She told me 9:30 but did let us know that we would be able to finish our meal. Right before closing, we received our meals. The other couple was very disappointing as we waited for drink refills and continued to notice service from other servers was way above the level we were receiving. They promptly had their food boxed. My husband and I ate our food. Unlike other tables, no one came out and presented dessert options or asked if we wanted anything else. Emanuel had disappeared completely other than to return with our tickets. My husband after waiting for a long period finally got up and went to find the missing server to give him his tip in hand to make sure that he received it. And honestly, I cannot even tell you why we tipped what we did. The food was honestly excellent but our experience was probably “fair” at best. Maybe it was a bad night but not what I expected from this level of restaurant. My recommendation would be takeout.
Perfect place to impress someone. Food is always delicious and staff are very friendly and accommodating. I absolutely love their duck egg poutine appetizer and their duck breast entre. Their cedar seared salmon is a fan favourite, and it doesn't disappoint.Food: 5/5
I cannot say enough about this place. Me and my husband stopped by for the first time and we are so happy we did! Rayne greeted us and mentioned she was the bartender, so we decided to sit with her for the night. She was amazing, spunky and was just SO incredible as a bartender and server. We were blown away with the whole staff, they were so welcoming and made us feel so special. The general manager Nick was also amazing, he ran a tight ship but still made sure he checked in on us on how our night was going. We cannot wait to bring our friends and family back to this place.
First visit for an anniversary dinner and was quite happy with everything overall. Was impressed by not only the 2 difference vocal happy anniversary callouts but also the signed card on the table. Our server Nikosp?was very attentive and helped through the dietary restrictions to make sure we had a pleasant dinner. Website menu was quite different than in person so was disappointed to not get to try the wellington but still a good experience. Steak was a little overcooked but still tender and flavorful. Elk was phenomenal. Also highly recommend the truffle scallop appetizer. Will definitely make the drive again for some special occasions.
The food here is great! This is possibly the best burrata I’ve ever had. The complaint I have is that the service was very slow. We were a large group and it look over 30 minutes to get our drinks.
We had the team at Elliotts on Linden come do a private chef catered dinner at the villa we were staying at in Pinehurst. It was a great meal, apps were super tasty and the homemade sauces they created were excellent. The team provided top level service, were always smiling and made our group feel extra special with their southern charm. They even cleaned up after the meal. Would highly recommend them to any golf trip groups for a top class culinary experience where you don't have to lift a finger.
