The Health Dept. does immunizations for adult and children, the WIC program, school physicals, lab testing, blood pressures, bob boxes, etc.
Monday we give immunizations for adults and children from 7am to 4:30pm. This includes TB (tuberculosis)Testing. We can also do some travel immunizations. We offer flu and pneumonia shots when in season. Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday we have the WIC (women, infant and children) program by appointments. Thursday we administer allergy shots. The client must see an allergy doctor first. We offer pre-school, day care, school entry and adult wellness physicals by appointment. We can do Lab tests with Doctor's orders by appointment. We also can do pregnancy tests by appointment. We can do drug tests by appointment. On Friday from 7am to 10:30am in the office we can check blood pressures, except the first Friday of the month, we start at 9am and go to 10:30am. We also have the Bob Box program. This is for seniors over the age of 65. They may pick up a food box at our office, one box per month per household. This program helps fight senior hunger. We can dispose of bio-hazards of sharps for individual for free and for business for a small fee. We monitor public health and safety issues related to emergency preparedness.
