Ellsworth Afb Cedar Inn

The room was okay and clean; issue with water pressure in the bathroom and no water in the kitchen sink; walking distant to commissary and PX; coffee shops and food places closed on Sunday, had to drive miles away for anything decent to eat; PX is very scaled down, not having much to choose from compared to most military PXRooms: 3/5

I hate to complain about this place because I really did enjoy our stay. I would have given it 5 stars but not once did we get thru to the front desk. Left messages and not one return call. Now the good. For $40 bucks a night, you get a kitchen, living area, bedroom with a door and bathroom. There is no maid service but they have a big supply of necessities that you can get to 24/7. Best part, free washer and dryer laundry room! So, would I stay here again, even without maid service? In a heartbeat!! Worth every penny! I forgot to add that you have to collect all your linens and put them in a bag before you leave. No big deal. Loved our stay here.

Not bad for a reasonable nights stay, but the place needs some maintenance. Heat did not work at all and it was 50 degrees the first night. Then it warmed up to the 80’s and the air conditioning did not work consistently. On the plus side, Free laundry was great and the room was clean. Bill size fridge and small microwave.

Fast and easy to check into Cedar Lodge located on Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City. Rooms clean and very quiet at night. Air conditioner works great and got too cold in our room. Heater did not work. Close to freeway. Make sure to pick up food before going back to your room because their food court closes early. Close to commissay and exchange. Enjoyed our stay there.

Nice rooms in an older building at the camp site on Ellsworth AFB near Rapid City, SD. They have several lodges to stay and in September ate usually full. Cedar Lodge is in the family campsite area. We were so lucky to get the last room. Their staff was short as is every business we have seen on this trip.

The photos look like it should be s cabin, it's not. More like a hotel. They only do room service a few days a week. The rooms show there age. The laundry is free. No other real amenities. Is within walking distance to just about everything.

If I could give less I would. Never any hot water for showers or dishes and pretty much no WiFi and since I’m locked in here for two weeks those are kind need to have things.

Nice rooms, clean and I love the set up. Can't beat cost for what you get.
