I don't like going to the Doctors, but very clean, neat, and organized. I felt safe and calm. Nurse, and Doctors kept it simple and gave me all information needed for my health and well-being.
Immediate is not immediate anymore. Average visit with earache or something not serious about 1 hour and 30 minutes. With empty waiting room. Can someone explain something to me. Once you are asked to go to the room there 2 or 3 nurses or assistance asking you same questions. All of them put the same information to the computer…. So when the doctor or a main nurse comes to the room you are Getting again asked the same. Why is that ?
I came in the other night around 7pm when they close at 7:30, so I thought the staff might be upset that I was coming at closing time for a strep test because my throat had been sore for a few days. To my surprise, they were all super nice and sweet and I was in and out within 30 minutes. I really appreciate that they were able to take me on such short notice and that they were all so nice to me! I will deff come back again if I need a last minute appointment!
I’m surprised this location hasn’t received better reviews. I’ve raised a 7 year old and now a 2 year old only visiting the pediatrician on the second level and the few times I needed immediate care with this location. Never a wait time, insurance always taken, knowledgeable staff and doctors. They have an X-ray in house so it helped one time to have that handy instead of making another trip to a nearby hospital.
Went in for foot pain, had X-rays and ultrasound. Found no sprain or broken bones. Although kept asking for blood test for gout! That fell on deaf ears there not done. Saw foot doctor next day. Doctor was surprised no blood test for gout was taken was prescribed an any inflammatory pills . Most horrible pain for the first 12 hours. Foot doctor claimed gout was the problem. After the doctors blood test.just a note to say we asked for blood test and never had it
I was treated kindly by the receptionist. But, I wasn't seen at the time they had stated originally. I had to wait about 30 minutes before they called me. Rogelio was a kind nurse and the Nurse Practitioner and X-ray tech were friendly. I was given a thorough explanation by the NP.
My daughter sprained her ankle at an evening practice. We went straight to urgent care. Even though it was right before they closed, they got us in, did x-rays, and diagnosed her very quickly. The most important part though was how kind everyone was from the nurse making us laugh, the person at the front door getting us a wheel chair, the provider making sure or x-rays got in to the medical assistant taking time to teach my daughter to use crutches. No one made us feel bad for coming right at the end of their shift. A+ care
I give Edward Elmhurst Immediate Care in Addison 5 if I could give more I would, every one that I interacted with was amazing ! So quick helpful & informative, I was hurting a lot when I arrived & they were truly awesome!!
Amazing! I was in and out in an hour, and every person I interacted with was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help me. Will definitely be going back and recommending to friends.
My boyfriend has been trying to pay his bill since DECEMBER and recieved his final notice this week. The billing department, admin, NO ONE knows how to help him because we live in Australia. He was promised TWICE now that he'd recieve a call from the head of billing — and is yet to recieve a call from them. He's called at least 4 times a week for 3 months now and has gotten absolutely nowhere. My boyfriends insurance won't wait for the bill for forever and we're not going to get stuck paying this hospital bill when we have valid insurance that has been willing to pay for his bill from day ONE. I'm appauled that there is no system in place for overseas travellers. My boyfriend has now spent countless hours on the phone, repeating his situation to probably every person in the billing department. Edward-Elmhurst Addison has been wasting his time. This hospital system is broken and they need to do better. If nothing is resolved soon, we will be getting in touch with a lawyer. Do better, Edward-Elmhurst Addison.
