Elmhurst station

It's a train station. There is a locally owned coffee shop immediately inside but it's not open during late afternoon rush hour. I do appreciate that it is indoors -- so I don't mind waiting during the winter when the Metra is often delayed. Plenty of seats, a ticket window and even a community bookshelf to swap out reading materials. The location is pretty central to Elmhurst -- there are nice restaurants, coffee shops within walking distance if you don't want to wait inside. Not as expansive as Ogilvie but totally understandable as it's in a major suburb as opposed to downtown in a major city.

Great place, perfect if you're a fugitive trying to run from the law because the police found you were torturing people. Triflers Reference

Since there is a rail yard near the station, it is perfect for a Railfan

Awesome place for railfanning lots of Metra and UP action.

Almost as good as Comcast.
