Called numerous times, for information, received message saying' leave message,' but yet the mail box is full. Send d message by pigeon???? Please clear the mail box and change that greeting, because the embassy is DEFINITELY not open from nine to five. Jokers!!!!!
Emailed since April 2022 for my minor renewal. No response. Trying to call over 9 months different times during the work day no one answers the call. This is really unacceptable unprofessional for such poor service it sucks. Waste of ppl time revamp your customer service rep. Quick fast n in a hurry
Service suck as usual and the check list information is pretty deficient. Am i supposed to post my original marriage certificate or do they just want a photo copy?
I am glad to say that me and my sister had the most wonderful experience this week after the passing of my sister we reach out to the embassy in Washington, and we were attended by Mr Morris and his co worker they took care of our passport since it was expired walk us through everything with such Professional attitude we got our emergency passport what a worm welcome from start to finish and not to mention very soft spoken . Also not forgotten the Security office all Trinidadian Thank you for all of your assistance
No one ever answers when you call no matter what time of day. Mailbox is filled and when you email this location no one responds. Very unacceptable
The people at our Trinidad and Tobago Embassy in Washington DC are amazing and they attend to you fast and efficient i was surprised as to what i have heard about the Embassy in NewYork City my passport was supposed to come in two to three months i got my passport in six weeks .Thank you so much to the workers at Trinidad and Tobago Embassy in Washington DC.
Does anyone work here? I submitted an online request for a passport appointment in March 2022 and have yet to get a response. Don't try calling...you won't get an answer.
I'm disgusted with the service I got from a simple phone call I made to inquire about passport information. The woman who spoke to me was rude and unprofessional. I couldn't even finished my questions or conversation without being cut of and still didn't get the correct information. Everyone can be replaced their is no such thing as a secured job. I'm not going to dress nothing up for your unprofessional service. I'm not your Buddy or your friend so I wouldn't. Is is time to train your staff. We the public no longer tolerant rudeness. Come up to the 21st century.
I went in to renew my passport in the ending of April, I was assisted with such a pleasant lady who was super helpful and kind, was out in and out to my surprise in a matter of minutes. She told me it take 4-6 weeks so keep on calling to make sure its ready. Well, from that point it went downhill fast. The operator always gives you such a bad attitude, she never helpful and she had the audacity to hang up during a conversation after telling me its going to take 2-3 months. Still waiting on my passport. Note to self "ALWAYS GO BACK HOME AND RENEW", you can get it done in 1 day in Port of Spain.
It is always easy to post a bad review but most of us don’t remember to leave a good review when things go smoothly. I went to the embassy yesterday and the “Entire” staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not think I would have gotten the documents I needed that day due to the short fused situation but I did. Additionally, due to my fault with the info I provided them I discovered an error and within hours they provided me with and updated document. I truly believe if you are kind, respectful and approach people accordingly, regardless of what country they are from they will be the same to you...well in most cases.
