I have no idea what the other reviews experience was or what exactly they were expecting. Ritz Carlton maybe? ‍ But for me and my family it was great! The room was very clean. The bathroom and bedding was clean. The front desk staff was nice. Of course the breakfast ordered to go line is going to be long. That’s just a given…… I didn’t care for the eggs but the omelet was pretty good. I didn’t get a chance to experience the Happy Hour but I will next but time. The pool area got really crowded when my kids wanted to swim. I had to keep a close eye due to so many other kids playing around. Parking wasn’t an issue either. I’m definitely coming back really soon they have great offers for a very reasonable price.
Awesome hotel! The rooms are like flats, fully equipped for all your needs and are cheaper than you would expect. Great service from the mates at the hall, they really take care about you: I had a small issue with the bathroom door and their technician just fixed it instantly, much appreciated Lovely concept: the particular shape of the hotel hall and terraces creates a very unique atmosphere of community. I meet and talk with so many people everyday that I really can't get bored of this place... I would stay forever, but I must keep following my music inspiration around the world Cheers and a big hug! Guaranteed by Pox, from IT Rooms: Large and comfortable as an apartment, fully equipped for all your needs, beside the kitchen obviously Safety: The receptionist took care about my stuff while I was doing beat making in the hall and I left for a while. I feel very safe having all the door locks and safeties... Food & drinks: There's a store down in the reception hall, you can buy a drink or snacks. Would be nice to have the bar opened until a bit later on Friday
I rarely write bad reviews, but this place was bad. The good thing about this hotel is that the rooms are nice. Clean, plenty of room, and two TVs. However, the ac was terrible. Our room was barely cool. About 75 degrees. But there was no AC in the atrium, lounge, restaurant, or lobby. I sat at the bar with a cold drink and just continued to sweat. Same thing at breakfast in the mornings. In the hall of the upper floors it must have been close to 100 degrees. The pool was nice, but the jacuzzi was closed. The managers happy hour is now only 1.5 hours long instead of 2 hours. And you can only get two free drinks. Also they never refill the snacks, so if you are not there right when it starts you don't get snacks. You used to be able to sit in the lounge and have as many free well drinks as you wanted for 2 hours. That's why we chose the Embassy Suites. Now I would say that we will never stay in one again.
This place is great, clean appearance both inside and out. Front desk employees were very friendly and welcoming. Happy hour with a variety of drinks, bar food was good, and everyone was friendly. Breakfast has a made to order grill along with the basic bagels, cereal, and yogurts. The elevators all worked, and I never waited longer than a few moments not bad for an 8-story fully booked hotel. The room 703 and 622 was clean and spacious. You can tell they were both recently updated. Most importantly, the rooms are quiet. Once you shut the door, no outside or neighbor noise is nnoticeable. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
Hotel is older for sure. Our room had a few little issues. But would still stay again. The girls at the front desk were allways helpfully and nice. The cook's at breakfast were fast and courteous. Great food as well. We went to the evening reception 3 times the bartender was always nice. And we order food from the bistro menu 2 times just to keep from leaving the hotel. Food was good both times. The girl waiting on us went above and beyond. Our son who is in the navy came with us one night and wanted iced tea she went and brewed him a fresh batch. She did now know about him being in the navy. She was very friendly.
Breakfast was amazingly delicious, and cooked to order. Parking was a bit full, so we had to park in the back lot but even that wasn’t very far from the front door. The hotel is amazingly clean everywhere we went. I like the open concept of the hotel as well. It made me feel more comfortable staying there with my children. Hot tub could have been a little warmer, but the pool area itself is very nice and spacious. The staff was nice, friendly, and accommodating. There was a customer who was loud and obnoxious complaining about having to stand in a line and the temperature wasn’t ideal.. right by the door. They sort of just let her complain and didn’t escalate the situation at all. We would definitely stay there again if we’re ever in the area.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a central area to our destinations. It is just a few minutes from BWI, which worked out perfect for us. There was no charge for parking, which was nice because there are other Embassy Suites that charge for parking. We had no issues with the safety of our vehicle in their parking lot as it was lit at night. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast in the mornings. Marty was our chef on Friday morning October 7th and was phenomenal. He smiled at every single person ahead of us and was super friendly! He made a cowboy casserole for breakfast that was wonderful -- as a matter of fact, I'll be working to re-invent this recipe at home. Most people do not give such great service first thing in the AM. He was personable and I cannot say enough good about him. He is definitely an asset to Embassy Suites and gives them a great name! If in the area again, we'll land at Embassy Suites in hopes of a good nights sleep and a ray of sunshine in the morning with Marty!
This place was great! A totally unexpected gem of an experience at the end and beginning of two long days. The staff was super-helpful and very kind-upbeat even! Let me say a quick word about the food. The morning breakfast was delicious with a variety of made to order options. The bed was very comfortable.
This is going to be a long post lol As a travel agent who get to travel all over the world and you stay at so many different hotels. I have to say this hotel has been pushed to my favorite. The general manager Trent and her team is second to none. The Assistant Manager forgot her name was so helpful I wanted a soul food location in the area and she hook me up with the hotel chef Sean. I was a little hesitate to eat at the hotel but to look at the menu I was like TURKEY WINGS so let me check this out and see. Let me tell you SEAN COOKED THOSE WINGS matter fact all of my sisters and brothers that ate there that night was raving about the home cooked food. He is an amazing chef and we got the privilege of meeting him direct he came from the back to greet us and we talked with him. Encouragement is where it's at. But for a hotel to have there own chef that is cooking from scratch that is a SUPER PLUS FOR ME. Now the breakfast service in the morning they have there omelet staff not sure of the gentleman behind the counter cooking it but he made my morning each time. His greeting always with a smile and some of the guest he knew what they wanted before they even asked to me that says something. It seemed that he truly enjoyed serving and he did an amazing job doing so. Terry the waitress Embassy she needs a RAISE I MEAN A GOOD RAISE I watch her serve more than 10 tables by HERSELF with a smile not nasty mind you she could be with all the stress on her shoulders but she worked really hard and very well. I have to say this again SHE NEEDS A RAISE. Jason his smile and hospitality personality was second to none. Trent is jewel I watch her walk around speaking to all the guest new and old. I needed some assistance regarding my client and myself and she accommodated us with no problem. I also watched how she interacted with her coworkers very sweet lady and mind you I was on the side line just watching. My room was exactly what I needed nothing more nothing less. Trent and her staff served like nobody business and I will recommend this hotel and I will definitely come back. The only issue that I had was the gentleman that took me to the train station on the shuttle. The issue when he got into the shuttle he called someone on his phone and held a whole conversation until he dropped me off. I was a little nervous but we made it to the train without an accident. This is the only issue. But I will not take any stars because of the driver because the experience and the hospitality was 10 plus stars. Thanks Trent & Embassy Suites BWI YOU GUYS ROCK
This Embassy is getting an upgrade. The new rooms are very nice. Evening social was very good, David, served a great Rum Punch and quickly filled orders and cheated with the customers even when the line was 20 people deep. Terri the waitress was wonderful. Breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of food. Terri was once again an angel.
