We always stay here when visiting our son at A&M. The location is close to campus and we like that there is a parking garage with free parking. My husband really likes that there is a separate living room space so that he can stay up later and not bother me. Breakfast is great. Made to order omelets, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc. Something for everyone. Room and bathroom is always clean and A/C works great.
We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The staff from check in to the breakfast area to housekeeping and to check out was so nice, helpful, and made us feel so welcomed! The complimentary breakfast was the best we ever had! Our room was beautiful and clean. We would definitely stay there again!Rooms: 5/5
This hotel is PERFECT for an individual, couple, or family! If you're shopping the area and trying to figure out which hotel will offer you the most?, book here! I was incredibly impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. We utilized the hotel bar, the bartender was great! My husband and I both commented on the setup of the room, how it was different and that we both really liked the layout. We also both also took advantage of the made to order free breakfast the next morning. While we were happy to be staying without our kids this time, we both commented on how this is what we need when we have them with us, because there is something for everyone and everyone would walk away happy and full!
Excellent hotel close to Texas A&M. Very clean and has great amenities. Evening reception is an awesome touch with a very attentive bartender. Great customer service. And the complimentary breakfast bar is top notch. I highly recommend this hotel.Rooms: 5/5
The hotel lobby, fitness rooms, and my assigned hotel room were all very clean and odorless. The air in the hallways/elevators of each floor did smell a bit damp/heavy compared to the rest of the hotel, but that’s not a big deal. My slight annoyance was that the bathroom itself did not have a vent switch to help scatter the humid vapors after a shower. The hotel services were nice: complimentary morning breakfasts kept me well fed, the hotel staff were friendly and professional, and the hotel parking garage was big enough to accommodate guests and shelter my car from the rain. My only complaint was that it was difficult to reach out to the housekeeping staff. On two occasions I requested they come in and do their daily cleanings while I’m out for 1-3 hours, and both times it was not done. During the 5-6 days I stayed, housecleaning came 3-4 times. I’m sure they would’ve come if I made a bigger deal of it with the front desk, so I’m not too phased by this. Location is not shabby as it’s on a street with a lot of food options, from diners to sandwich shops and healthy smoothie cafes. An urgent care is less than 5 min away. Overall, this hotel was pleasant and seemed clean. A lot better than some of the other 3-star hotel options around here.
The room is a suite with a separate TV area. The TV-living area has a sink, fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker, and small table desk—very clean rooms. The bed linen smells clean and fresh. They have a complimentary happy hour around 5:30 with snacks. The breakfast and restaurant area in the lobby is large, with ample seating. The hotel is close to everything you need, restaurants and shopping. Close by are cute boutiques, and the university is super close by. Great staff, and all are very helpful.
One of my favorite Embassy Suites of all that I have stayed at. Excellent continental breakfast. Evening happy hour is awesome. Rooms are nice and the facility as a whole is clean and well managed.Rooms: 5/5
It was absolutely awful! There was long black hair and pubic hair all over my bathroom floor and carpet. When I told them they said the room will be cleaned first thing in morning. I returned back at noon and room wasn’t touched. I told the front desk people and said it would he handled asap. When we returned later, it appeared to be clean. Then I noticed even more hair everywhere. This time it was also hanging from the towels. I literally thought it was a joke. When I told them they said they were sorry and “thought” they could offer me points. I was done at this point. I was very very nice in my interactions it still very upset this happened. Rooms: Nice room but absolutely disgusting with long black and pubic hair all over the bathroom floor and carpet.
We have stayed here multiple times since our son began to attend TX A&M. The room and amenities are great, but their inflated "special events" prices and minimum stay nights are getting out of hand. 2023 fall semester move in this year occurs 8/18/23 to 8/20/23. These imbeciles require a minimum stay of 4 nights during that time period. Priced at $265 a night, which doesn't include taxes and fees. We called to ask if there was a room available for a 2 night stay. They offered a 2 night stay at $319 a night before taxes and fees. We told them to go pound dirt and secured a reservation at the TX A&M conference center hotel. The rate was comparable to Embassy "Poke Your Eyes Out" Suites for the 2 nights we required. Screw Embassy Cheats College Station!
This hotel is great. The location is superb, very close to the university as well as many restaurants. The hotel common areas were super clean and housekeeping does a great job of cleaning the rooms. Each suite has 2 large televisions, a great work area, and very large bathroom. The indoor swimming pool was nice, but did not appear to be heated. There is a great parking garage which is free and very convenient. The breakfast was very tasty with made to order omelettes. The room service menu is limited but had a few tasty items. We had had a pizza from the restaurant downstairs and it was good. There are seven floors and 3 elevators servicing these floors, most of the time only 1 elevator seemed to be working but the wait times were manageable. All in all I definitely will stay here in future trips to College Station.
