I've been staying at Embassy Suites for years. When I checked in yesterday was very surprised at the beautiful renovations going on gorgeous floors Atrium looked amazing if there is any way to make a 5 star hotel better Hilton did it with this property. The Omaha Steakhouse food was incredible my morning breakfast buffet was awesome the rooms looked amazing. The management staff were very professional and very pleasant when I arrived. I couldn't ask for a better location or better place to stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. They were very accommodating, the hot breakfast in the morning was wonderful, and the updated rooms were really nice! Even with the current construction, it was still a great stay! It already looked beautiful. I highly recommend:Rooms: 5/5
I love this hotel it was conveniently located. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Rooms were a little outdated, but they were clean and spacious. Our beds were comfortable which made everything perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Food & drinks: The restaurant Omaha steak, located inside of the hotel was very good and our waitresses was awesome. Plus the complimentary breakfast was amazing. Especially the specialty omelets.
This was my favorite hotel I've stayed in! Reasonably priced, staff was all so friendly, room was AMAZING! So clean and safe! The reception area had complimentary cocktails which was cool, the bartender was super nice. The restaurant inside was very good as well! Conveniently located. Definitely staying again!! Rooms: So comfy! It was like a little apartment! Safety: Felt extremely safe! Walkability: Many places located less than half a mile away! Food & drinks: The food and drinks were awesome!
I would have like to give 5 stars because we loved the location and the layout of room and want to come back and visit again but housekeeping was less than desirable. We reserved our room 3 weeks ahead of time and picked which room that we wanted with 2 double beds. When checking in the desk clerk gave us a room 1 floor below what we reserved so when we entered the room, we noticed the toilet was not level and shaking and if housekeeping had done their job of cleaning they should have caught it. We went back down to clerk and told him that the toilet was loose and he called for maintenance. When maintenance arrived he said we would have to move to another room because the toilet had to be removed so we go back downstairs to get another room key and asked about the room we reserved 3 weeks ahead of time and he said it was not available even though it was when we reserved online 7/25/2023.. Another minor inconvenience that you shouldn't have to endure after driving 13 hours. When we got on the elevator one of the construction crew stumbled into the elevator completely intoxicated, I believe construction was 9:30 to 4:30 or 5 and this was right before 5 pm. There was no bath rug in the room so we had to use 1 of 3 towels for a bath rug when there was 3 of us staying in the room so my husband requested more towels and 1 hour later housekeeping still. had not brought towels so I called and in about 20 minutes some were brought to our room. Most hotels keep extra supplies at check in making it easy for guest to request. Also, the shower gel in the tub, housekeeping left about 1 inch in the bottle instead of replacing the bottle or filling since we were there for 5 days. Also, the previous guest bath supplies were left in the shower proving the shower had not been cleaned in between guests! Also only had half a roll of toilet tissue with no extra left in the room so we had to request extra tissue. There was also ants in the bedroom near the window and they got in the bed and we had to go purchase ant spray to get rid of them, totally unacceptable. The carpet was dirty and did not look like it had been vacuumed. We enjoyed the breakfast but the fruit had little black bugs swarming it and the evening snacks were stale. And if housekeeping only services the room every 5th day, please use larger trash cans and leave more towels and toilet tissue and maybe a housekeeping manager should check rooms after maids clean them. Other than housekeeping we enjoyed the hotel location and the room.
Other than the dust created by the lobby construction, we could not have been happier during our stay. Our stay was due to a medical emergency with a family member. When we checked in we explained to the front desk staff that we had no idea how long we would be staying. They could not have been more understanding or accommodating and due to the circumstances, they even offered a bereavement rate. Our room was immaculate and spacious. The free breakfast was incredible, could not have wanted more. Every employee, from the front desk to housekeeping to hospitality staff, was friendly and professional. They helped make a difficult time almost pleasant. I will definitely choose Embassy Suites in the future
We paid what I would say discount rate for location and amenities. We did NOT get discounted room or service. The two room suite was spacious and clean. The sleeping area could be closed off from the entry room making the unit quiet for sleeping. I would book this room again if I was to overnight in Altamonte Springs.Rooms: 5/5
One of the best one I've stayed so far. Rooms somewhat clean, under the comode was nasty but somewhat else was clean. Breakfast was great, they have managers hour that includes 2 cocktails per person that were strong but good. Surrounded by plenty of restaurants. They are remodeling it and is looking very nice. At the last minute we got an extra room that was almost $190
Our stay was not enjoyable and our room had many issues... For starters we were given a room that was directly in front of a loud maintenance room that had an audible noise that could be heard in our room. The AC was not working which made it uncomfortable to sleep through the night. Our toilet clogged after using it minimally for the first time. When we tried to call the front desk about the toilet it just kept ringing.... The smell of our room also smelled like mold or cat piss. When we checked out the front desk was on the phone and I tried to tell them about the toilet still not working that was about to overflow, but was then told to just write it down on some piece of paper. Overall we chose this hotel for its Brand and ideal location to Orlando. We will be going elsewhere for the rest of our FL vacations in the future...
There were definitely a few reasons for a lower score, but the customer service at the Embassy Suites in Altamonte Springs made our stay worthwhile. We were immediately attacked by fleas as soon as we walked in the room. The front desk worker was extremely apologetic and immediately set us up in a different room. The new room was good; flea free. The hotel is under construction, which kinda kills the ambience, but again the customer service made up for it. The prices were pretty easy to deal with, which is probably a result of the ongoing construction. I would look for the prices to jump once they complete the project.
