The 24 hour, continuous shuttle to LAX is nice for late arrivals/early departures. The rooms are adequate. Show signs of age, but clean. Location is obviously convenient for the airport. The biggest negative is that when I pay to stay in an Embassy Suites, I have an expectation of a fresh, hot breakfast. Made to order omelets, freshly made pancakes on the griddle, bacon, sausage, etc. Despite having the kitchen, they don't staff it. this wasn't a staffing shortage thing either. the woman I spoke to said they never had it open. other negative is the workout room. Sad. Three treadmills, one of which was broken. Elliptical, bike, one bench and light dumb bells. so the hotel is fine, but not worth the cost and falls short of expectations for an embassy suites.
Noisy but clean and comfortable room. Food service in the "bistro" is a logistical nightmare and should be avoided but the waitstaff is very nice. Upon check in we went to our room and the housekeeper said our room was not ready for 20 minutes or so. That room was in an alcove off the main hallway next to a storage room! Front desk wasn't exactly apologetic but did give us another room after much grumbling and consultation on the the hotel team's part. The shuttle service was timely and pleasant. One nice feature - this hotel is exactly next to Budget rental return. Walkability: It isn't!....BUT if you rent from budget - on your return, you can walk 500' with luggage to this hotel.
Hello my name is Olaf Tweedie me and Girlfriend was planning on enjoying our night in your hotel but unfortunately your front desk staff humiliated me in front of other guest I was early and my second party had not yet arrived plus it wasn't check in time. I politely was up to the front desk informed them that I have a reservation and could I have the code to the computer. I was told I wasn't a guest until I check in. I smiled and politely returned to my seat. 5minutes later I was approached by the other front.desk clerk and asked do I have a reservation at this hotel..I said Yes I did but you can cancel it because if this is how you treat your guest I'll rather stay at motel six.. Noteworthy details: If YoU want your guest to feel like guest let them use the computer before check it might be something important and do t harress your guest My experience here will never be forgotten
Stay here for convenience to the airport. Just be aware that your convenient location comes at the cost of jet noise. Hotel is clean but some things a little worn. Rooms are roomy. Food is average. We had an event here and it was kinda poor.
Disappointing. Embassy Suites used to be nice places to stay. This time I arrived to a room with standing water in a plugged bathroom sink. By the time maintenance was finished with the repair 40 minutes later, the whole suite smelled of sewer and needed to be aired out for another 40 minutes, making for a late night the night before a morning flight. The furnishings in the room were scratched up and all showed their considerable age. Wardrobe doors did not match up when closed. At least the breakfast is still good, no made to order omelettes any more, but the other selections are still good. The location and shuttle to the airport were also convenient.
The staff was friendly! My room felt welcoming. I enjoyed the manager reception and i appreciate the complimentary breakfast. However, i think it was better when they had their omelet station available.Rooms: 5/5
This hotel is easy to get to from the airport. However they only were running a single shuttle and it was not marked well and I missed it the first time it went by so I ended up waiting quite some time for the shuttle. Once at the hotel it was decent enough. I didn't like the bathroom. Small counter space, dim light, a shower/tub which hotels should update to walk in showers by now. But my biggest complaint is the round seat toilet. I am bigger and to have such a small toilet is not enjoyable. That's just me but I didn't think anyone still used the old round toilets. One compliment was the room had a sliding patio door. So it was awesome to let in some fresh air. Overall the room was fine and the service at the hotel was fantastic. Noteworthy details: Update your toilets and bathroom
We are just transiting in LA for 2 nights. Clean rooms and fresh sheets, comfortable bed. I love their breakfast. We also rode their airport service, shared with other hotels. We nearly missed it. Good thing we heard the driver shouting - embassy suites. Because we didn't see the signage.Rooms: 5/5
Got to hotel around midnight. Front desk clerk was awesome! Room is gorgeous! Breakfast a sweet deal! However 3:30am super noisy from constant traffic!! The bed should be flip flopped with the room with the desk that is away from the street. Also, why am I getting an email at 250am and 306am to thank me for my stay. There is a $15 LA Workers charge as well. A bit much with all the other taxes put on.
