I drive past 3 other USPS offices to get to this one! I ship quite a few packages, I drop them off here. Why? Because me and my customers don’t like waiting for tracking info. My packages get scanned and start tracking quickly, as soon as 45 minutes but never longer than 8 hours one PO nearer to me once took 48 hours!. I’ve only had to go to the window a few times, service was efficient and I got what I needed.
I went in to verify my identity/address for mail forwarding to my new address. I brought in the necessary bar code, my license, and a copy of my lease. During the whole interaction, the woman assisting me was short and rude. She said she could not accept my digital lease, even though all parties signed digitally and I had the full lease pulled up. No where in the email I received from USPS stated that digital copies were not accepted. Was able to verify at a different location.
At 3:45 in good faith I was in the post office on 7381 la tiger blvd los angeles. I was treated very rude by the clerk Day who didn't offer any help or assistance.
Totally unnecessary to hold my package at this facility for 9 DAYS. B/c of this, my package missed TWO expected delivery dates 1 week apart btw & I won't be getting it on time for my trip.
unbelievably rude, belligerent, untrained in post office procedures. went to file a change of address for someone who is overseas and authorized me as her representative, as requested by her local PO. despite having a letter from the USPS that outlines the process, inglewood clerks refused to accept the documentation, accused me of lying or fraudulently forging the required letter of authorization that i presented, made up a ridiculous requirement that i should be authorized with power of attorney, then threw me out because i wasnt at my friend's local PO. next i went to my friend's local PO and night turned to day. treated with respect and courtesy, change of address accepted without question.
It never fails the doors are open when they are supposed to be opened according to the posted hours of operation, additionally the custodian keeps the lobby fresh and clean EVERY business day! I've just had the pleasure of extending my gratitude to him personally this morning, it is a delight to enter the lobby to deposit my packaged items and smell the freshly cleaned floors!
This is the worst USPS. The employees are never pleasant and they act like they own the tape in there. If I have a package and just need one strip to tape to close it up, why would a purchase a whole roll? All of the employees are rude and have attitudes. If you want pleasant service and need a little tape to send a package, DO NOT GO HERE.
I received a delivered notification that my Amazon package arrived. I walked around the whole building even checked the buildings next to me to see if they were accidentally dropped off there and nothing. One year I ordered beats headphones for my wife and I get a Delivered notification and can you believe the USPS courier placed the package on top of the mailbox for everyone to see anyone that drove or walked by could have taken it if I hadn't of checked. It's unbelievable another 20 steps and it would have been my front door. I believe USPS shouldn't be allowed to drop anything bigger than what would fit in a mailbox. I believe it's too much for them to handle it's a shame they can't complete a simple task it's not like they are doing a root canal. Update as of 7/29/2022 If you receive emails USPS Informed Delivery of mail being delivered that day did you receive it? For instance a brand new credit card never in my possession somehow got used at a Target and gas station two different times in a matter of just one hour. This credit card never made it to my mailbox, I immediately had to cancel it. Also ordered gift cards from my bank and received Informed Delivery that they would be delivered and some how neither made it to my mailbox. I definitely have reason to believe the workers are untrustworthy. I've reported it and nothing has have been done not even a phone call or email from them. Just a confirmation email that COVID has limited staff availability.
3 stars because this is the only Post office that takes walk ins & has a dedicated office that processes passports. They call the appointments first but usually only a few people show up that have appointments, so walk ins come in too. Only about 10 groups at a time. Tuesdays & Thursdays are the best days to go. 1. Get there early, like 7am-7:30am. They don't open till 9am & usually one or two USPS workers don't show up for work so its one person processing. If you're not in that first or 2nd group then you might not get seen till 12pm-1pm even if you show up at 7am. This happened to me! 2. Make sure you have all paperwork/documentation with you & make sure its filled out correctly. The old Chicana lady has an attitude, especially if something is filled out wrong or incomplete...don't argue with her. she will make your day a living hell. I witnessed this happened to a few people. 3. Bring your own portable chair or something to sit on, & something to block the sun, cause you'll most likely be in line a long time. 4. Even though it says passport processing hours are from 9am-4pm, they stop accepting people into the office around 2:30pm. So if its close to that & you're still in line you might as well leave, they won't let you in. 5. Goodluck!
This branch is located across from a cute little coffee shop. The clerk was reasonably helpful and efficient at this branch of the US Postal Service.
