Excellent place to stay. Great service and staff. Good AC. Nice room. Good breakfast. Great TV. Great cellular reception. We stayed in a room with two queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. Extra linens were provided in the closet, but I did have to call the front desk for extra pillows. They were courteous to bring them to me. I It should be noted that guests have to use a digital key on their phone. But as long as you have a basic understanding of technology, it works great. It's all on the Hilton app. I signed up with fake info because I don't care to doxx myself in an inevitable data breach. Suggestions: It would be nice if the restroom had a powered exhaust fan on a timer, and the room was a bit humid.
A well located hotel and as it was a last minute booking for me it met my needs on location and price. Service was great at checking in and the folks in the bar were terrific. The happy hour was great with snacks and cut price beer. The down side was the Chef. Rumor has it the Chef was French trained which apparently means he knows my tastes better than I do. My ask was simple with a history of stomach issues I just need to keep it plain. The pork chops had a mild curry sauce and the mash had garlic and truffle an unusual combined strong competing flavors. I just wanted to sub the mass for some plain fries. But no, not possible. I was offered fries on the side, but I had to take the mash??? Not clever and not in any way respectful to the customer. Food & drinks: Food was pretentious and the Chef personally let down a great team and a good hotel.
1. Housekeeping needs to step up their game. If the guest has to be a housekeeper then deduct a percentage off my bill. 2. You have to be a kid or have a kid with you in order to get a Kid's Meal Grill Cheese Sandwich with Fries! I'm wish I was joking! Adults eat grill cheese sandwiches with french fries! I really was told that I could not have a grilled cheese sandwich with fries because I needed to have a child with me. " Company Policy" 3. It's been months now and there's still ONLY ONE ELEVATOR WORKING, unless you want to lug your luggage to the opposite side of the restaurant to use the nasty service elevator. 4. Staff is super friendly and do their best. 5. Menu is great if you want 5 star dining while sitting on a couch leaning over your food. There is one choice for a hamburger and one choice for a po' boy if you're an adult.
I paid for a corner suite. The 3 other times I stayed, it was on the top floor with view in 2 directions. Spacious, quiet and worth the money. This time, second floor. Views of the air conditioning. Half the room square footage was the hallway leading back to the room. Next to the service elevator. It felt like a second rate room. It had 2 rooms but was no bigger usable area than a standard room. They gave me the presidential suite to make up for the misunderstanding. My favorite hotel I the chain. I will stay here as always. Their promise to make it right is not just words. Stacy is the best. Food & drinks: Manager reception was as expected.
This is a old hotel in need of repairs. The hotel was full and only had one working elevator. They opened up a service elevator in the back that was very sketchy and took 30 secs for the door to open. The air conditioner in the room was also very loud. Our bathroom shower drain would clog and the toilet had a hard time accommodating a regular amount of toilet paper. The hotel is right off the freeway and crossing Metcalf can be an issue. There is ample amount of parking which you will be charged for. The breakfast and happy hour are the only reason we stayed and did not find another place.
Convenient location with a nearby gas station, restaurants and car rental. Staff was courteous from front desk, evening reception and breakfast. Room and linens were very clean and the king bed was comfy. Kudos to the chef who patiently made omelettes to a constant stream of hungry guests! Thank you!Rooms: 5/5
Hilton must be under new management. The past few months rooms and service has declined. I understand small things: a toilet that runs or an air conditioner needing a filter change to be able to cool the room. But the past few times I have stayed, either front desk acted as if I was bothering them checking in. Or this stay I was put into a room someone else already complained about and changed to a new room. I know this because they left their goody bag, drink passes and parking pass on the table. The tv was on as well. So no one from the hotel checked the room and cleanliness before assigning it to me. The air conditioner wouldn’t cool and bathtub water ran non stop. I travel every week for work and always stay at Hilton. Time to find a hotel chain. This place is 2 stars at best.
This was my first stay at this location but it was consistent with other Embassy Suites that I’ve stayed at. Typical cooked to order breakfast, free drinks and snacks in the early evening at the bar. But When my booking charges got mixed up the staff did a fantastic job of getting everything straightened out. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. As you can see in the pictures, the shower curtain had dried snot on it, the shower head had red colored growth on it and there was black growth in the corner of the shower. In addition to the shower, the door to our room was sticky and would not open when we tried the key card. We also noticed that the outlet on the one side of the bed was not working at all. We took all of these concerns to the front desk. The lady we spoke with was not apologetic and didn't offer a single thing. The maintenance guy came up with a hammer and used that on the door frame to prevent the door from sticking, which hardly did anything. We then had to deal with an extension cord across the floor since the outlet on the side of the bed was not working. As mentioned in many reviews, their one elevator was not working. Instead you could take the maintenance elevator which was extremely dirty, smelled of grease and took at least 5 minutes to open. If I could recommend one thing, stay far away from this hotel as it should not be an Embassy Suites.
Wouldn't stay here again- should have known from the fact that it took about 7 phone calls to get an answer at the front desk to ask about early check in. From there- entire hotel very dated. One elevator was broken we were 6th floor with 3 little kids so the wait was crazy each time. Pool was out of commission- apparently someone had an accident. Room had mold in bathroom, toilet didn't work half the time and cracks in the wall. Tried to call front desk multiple times from inside hotel as well and still no response 9;30 at night.
