The room was very nice and clean. Also quiet and had very peaceful courtyard on the restaurant/entry level. We were only there one night for a massage expo, but enjoyed the space of the extra room with comfy couch. The food was great whether at lunch or dinner at the conference or the full hot breakfast. There was an omelette bar that looked good and lines not bad at all. They have a generous cocktail hour late in the afternoon for which we received a free glass of wine too. The only complaint I have was the bathroom tub drain didn't work so the water accumulated in the tub while showering. I "fixed" it for my roommate by wedging the screw cap to help water go down the drain. Then the inner shower curtain was snapped on incorrectly so that water spilled out onto the floor during a shower. I think these are housekeeping and maintenance issues and wouldn't be surprised to find out they are understaffed during this post-covid period. Not the end of the world, but yet another frustration in this overcrowded, underpaid, inflation-wracked, super stressed era.
I had an excellent experience at the Embassy Suites in Portland. Sherie at the front desk was amazing! She answered all my questions and helped me during my stay. She was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The free breakfast was above and beyond. I really enjoyed meeting Sherie and staying at the Embassy Suites.
Closely located to the airport, parking in front of the hotel was full at night, had to park a little out of the way when we came back late. Everything was pretty clean… except the elevators. I don’t think they have anyone cleaning them. They are gross, dirty carpet, dirty and gross looking walls and doors inside both main elevators. It wouldn’t take much to get them in shape, somebody just needs to be assigned to it. We were there for four nights, didn’t see the little note that we had to request room cleaning until the third day. The breakfast was good. Drink tickets for free adult beverages were nice. People were friendly and when we asked for more towels they came quickly. There were water falls and small streams through out the center atrium area with large goldfish, relaxing.
Loved our room. Clean and classy with everything we needed. We had little interaction with staff but those we did meet were friendly. The location was easy enough to find but nothing around for our family to enjoy really.Rooms: 5/5
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Surpassed my expectations, service was above and beyond fulfilling an odd errand for me that saved me hours. Hotel interior was well kept and the waterfall in the atrium was very pleasant and added a little white noise that was nice - but didn't really penetrate into the room. Breakfast omelette was made to order and the chef knew how to cook the eggs without drying them out. The rest of the buffet was above average, with a decent variety. Shuttle drivers to and from the airport were nice and very helpful and accommodating. Travel time to and from the airport was about 10 minutes. The room itself was nice and well laid out. Overall I found it to be a great value and one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.
I stay here because the location was absolutely incredible. It is literally a 3 minute shuttle ride from the airport and they do have a very good shuttle to pick you up and drop you off. After that the entrance is nice but the hotels are older. When we were checking in which was a weekend night there was only one person checking people in and it was a really long line considering that it's a weekend. The breakfast was pretty good and the rooms were average. Honestly it was a pretty average hotel considering that you have to pay a premium embassy price.
Location is great, staff is very friendly. However, we were a bit undone by the general service provided by the hotel. We are currently staying here still have a couple days left in our trip and we came after a long day only to see that our rooms were not cleaned and even the trash wasn’t taken out. We were told that they don’t do it unless we ask them to which really does not make sense when it is as basic as taking the trash out for the amounts charged on these rooms per day. I hope this changes as we are loyal Hilton customers and we look forward to having a comfortable stay in the future.
Great hotel with manager reception for every guest, which includes free snacks and beer— one person I would like recognize is Lindsay she is a great bartender and host, with friendly and fast service with a smile. Work ethic sucks nowadays but embassy at airport will change your mind. Kudos to employees at portland embassy Rooms: Comfy Nearby activities: Great location for food Safety: Feel safe at this hotel Walkability: Perfect Food & drinks: Free from 5-6:30
This was a nice place to stay. The inside courtyard is relaxing, the complimentary drinks were a nice surprise, breakfast was delicious, the staff we're very nice. My only complaint was the pool was a bit chilly. All in all, a great place to overnight with the kiddos.Rooms: 4/5
Had a great time during my stay here. The location was fantastic, right next to the airport, with free shuttles running every 15 minutes. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a nice view. The rooms are a bit older compared to others in the same price range. Overall, a solid choice for a hotel.Rooms: 4/5
