I initially didn't review because the ER closed shortly after, but it appears they have re-opened. Went there with a serious antibiotic resistant bacterial infection of my leg. Staff were reasonable, but offered no way to resolve the problem. I was put in a bed and basically ignored except for an IV each day that wasn't stopping the infection. Best any of the doctors who dropped by once each could say was "if it doesn't clear up we might have to amputate". Fortunately a doctor from outside the hospital staff who was visiting one of his patients overheard 2 nurses talking about my case. He dropped by, identified the likely bacterial strain from looking at my leg and listening to how the infection had progressed. He got me transferred to his control, ordered two new antibiotics, and shifted me to outpatient. Cleared the infection right up. Hopefully they upgraded the abilities of their MD's when they re-opened.
- The person responsible for cataloging my belongings spent 20 minutes gossipping with a co-worker about other gambling co-workers. - The assessor was rude and combative. Worse, no staff at all provided any way to report him. - I received conflicting and incorrect discharge information. - The staff ordered me to sign for documents they did not create. Unprofessional, hostile, and maddening. I would rather die than return here.
Incredibly caring, patient, and wonderful staff! Everyone truly made my visit as comfortable as possible. I have recommended this hospital to everyone I know because of how perfect my experience was here, even under emergency circumstances! Highly recommend.
I was very surprised with how professionally coordinated all of the staff were. You could really feel them putting out their hearts into what they are doing. The receptionist, the rn doing vitals, the rn doing ekg, the bedside rns, the xray tech and the one doing insurance. I really wish I had all the names of the wonderful staff. Dr. Waseya Cornell was great and I'm very appreciative of her. Big heartfelt thank you to all of you!
Worst ER in Las Vegas. Went in for possible case of pneumonia and they said I had a cough. I waited around the waiting room, which resembled cattle line up, to be told all my tests were great and that I need rest. They wrote me a prescription for an inhaler and antibiotics. Then they told me if it got worst, come back in. Yea, sure..no way ever. The worst part was seeing this other poor woman in the ER throwing up blood and that let her sit in the waiting room also. What the hell is wrong with these medical people? Do ur job, people! This is what u get paid for! SMH!
The emergency department personnel are the best I’ve ever experienced. They’re compassionate and efficient.
Do NOT waste your time! They don't know how to treat MRSA!!!
