I went to the Beaverton office due to some pain occasionally in one of my molars. I was told that I may need a root canal or they can do a filling. If the cavity was too deep they would have to just do an extraction. They quoted me about $7.30 for the filling $127.90 for the root canal and about $807.4 for the crown... These are all prices after my insurance. They couldn't accommodate me at Beaverton since their molar root canal person only was available when I needed to work. They checked the other offices and good news, there was an appointment available at the Tigard office in two weeks. I go to the Tigard office and sit in the chair. The Doctor suggests we should try to do the filling instead of going straight for the root canal. Okay, let's try it. They are halfway through the procedure and a guy comes in and shows me a paper saying the cost would be $175. I said okay. After the procedure I go to pay the price on the credit card machine read $275. I was like, "You said it was $175 just a few minutes ago." The guy said "Oh my bad I forgot to add in some other stuff." I'm kind of bewildered and confused just having my mouth worked over. So I go to my bank app and transfer more money to my account to pay this guy who is basically robbing me. Just not realizing what's going on, I pay the guy and leave. They gave me an Rx for pain pills when I never asked for them. Quite frankly I'm surprised they are not under investigation by the state or at the very least the Better Business Bureau. They do work on teeth... But beware of their quoted price... They will charge you way more than what they tell you. I barely make enough to live here in Portland at $20/hr and then there are businesses that outright rob their customers. This business practice needs to change. Reply to the reply from the office. The root canal never was needed. The filling was advertised To me as costing about $7. They charged me $275 after quoting me $175. The $275 presented on the credit card reader was an absolute surprise. I am, and you the reader should be insulted that the office doesn’t even understand what they did wrong and seem to stand by their fraud. I am confident that if the $275 filling failed I would still need to pay all the money for a root canal and crown again. This dentist is a vulture. Beware.
I needed an emergency extraction and it was able to be pulled; notoriously difficult to pull a two-root tooth without breakage, and it came out easy enough that a few hours after, it doesn't even hurt. Fast, easy, clear directions.
Fabulous service and complete professionalism. I had an upper molar fall apart in the morning of July 5th. By 4pm, the same day, I was in and out with the best service I've ever had by a dental office. Dr Ahmadian was amazing and I highly recommend her along with her assistant Kathie!
Amazing service I went in got a root canal done today by Dr Pham he was amazing very professional I will be getting all my dental work done by either Dr Pham or Doctor song
This is the BEST place to go with Dental emergencies. I had 2 abscessed teeth, cheek swelling, intense pain. DR Micheal Savage, really was just that, a savage. He walked me through the entire process, we discussed Back 2 the future, the Adams family and music from the 80's/90's. He made sure I was numb, fully comfortable and proceeded to remove both teeth. I've honestly never had a better experience at a Dentist. 10/10 would recommend for any and all dental emergencies :
I went to the appointment and advised them I needed a CBCT scan, showed them the referral from my Dentist and advised them on a lateral crack in my tooth. Dr. Pham took x-rays, poked around then advised me he is not an Endodontist and that I needed to go to an Endodontist and get a CBCT scan. I questioned why he even did what he did after seeing my referral with clear information of what I needed. He escorted me to Josh, the guy who checked me in and told him he needs to be transparent with clients when they’re looking for something. Both Josh and Dr. Pham saw my referral with the word Endodontist and CBCT scan before even touching my tooth. In turn, due to my dentist already doing X-rays, my insurance is not covering this visit because X-rays we’re not suppose to be done. This company took advantage of me not understanding what he was doing and trusting he was fulfilling my request. Dr. Pham advised my “insurance should cover the visit” after I told him he had wasted my time and money. After calling my insurance, they clarified I’m only authorized one X-ray per year, this will not be covered. Unless you speak the lingo and know exactly what you’re going in for, don’t trust these people. They’re scam artists.
My temporary bridge broke on a Sunday.. I’m recently moved to Oregon with my dentist 2000 miles away! No problem - they saw me same day. The assistant was extremely helpful in handling forms and insurance. Dr. Frances was efficient, capable and fixed me right up!. Everyone was friendly and upbeat. I’ll definitely go back when I need routine care, too.
Very bad practice, terrible. Their hours are not listed correctly online, went there a few times, always to find them closed, can barely get a call back. When someone I know left them a bad review because of this they sent a message saying " because of the bad review you submitted, your appointment has been cancelled". Very unprofessional
Horrific practice. My actual visit was an extremely poor experience, unprofessional and unorganized. Moving forward a few weeks later I needed to obtain a receipt, i made sure I googled their office hours ahead of time and showed up DURING their listed office hours. I walked into their OPENED business doors and found a receptionist sitting at their counter who immediately told me they were closed. I told him that I just needed a quick receipt printed and that I came all the way from Hillsboro and he did not care. I told him that their business is currently listed as opened as well as you’re literally siting in front of me and he still did not care, insisting they were closed and that he couldn’t be bothered to print a receipt. I told him I wouldn’t leave with out one and he threatened to call the police on me. When I told him I didn’t care and that I would need him to go ahead and do that THEN he was magically able to be bothered to print my simple receipt. What really upsets me is what if this happened to a softer spoken person. You can tell this business is almost failing and are at a point where they do not care anymore.
