Cashier with glasses and tattoos can't be bothered with customers. Watches Netflix and gossips on the phone while performing my transaction but couldn't answer a single question I asked, just points and nods. Very rude.
The gasoline pricing at this Chevron is MISLEADING. They tell you Supreme Unleaded is 4.90 per gallon and when you get up to the pump, you end up paying 5.90 per gallon. When you get up to the kiosk it says in a tape that 2-row SUVs or Trucks will be charged 1 dollar extra per gallon and 3-row SUVs or Trucks will be charged 2 dollars extra per gallon which frankly sounds sketchy and illegal. This an issue for me since I have 1-row in the back of my SUV but I was charged $5.90 like I have a larger SUV or truck! Avoid this gas station like the plague since they are misleading and lying to you to get you to drive up and buy their gasoline .
I just hate the 24 hour sticker on the glass open 24 hours not 22 and then these handwritten paper. I understand they must have things to do and maybe even their system is down for whatever reason but we are in 2017 and we have lots of technological advances. I thought it was 4 already and I only wanted a frea*** bottle of water for my customers and here I am while the guy shouted out to me it is only 335am. This boils my blood. 24 hours but it is close from 2am to 4am... Alright.... However, putting this aside, I have been here before many times since I work a lot in the area around this time and the other employees I have encountered weren't in their best mood either. I should understand it is really early right?... If I weren't working as well...
The pricing is unlawful. You pay per gallon NOT per vehicle size!
The gas price seems cheap, but only if you get a car wash. Also I tried pumping air, but the thing only last for a like 2 minutes and charge $1.25, don't bother swiping your credit card cause it ain't going to work, it'll just charge you and not dispense any air. Just drive down the street to the shell station, they have and air/gas for your car for free and gas is much cheaper.
The staff at this chevron helped me track down my stolen debit card and the guy who was using it. The girl who’s beautiful name I can’t pronounce, was so kind and helpful when I called several times and I am so thankful for her and her kindness!!
Hey!! They'll be open if you want to purchase gas from them. But the chances of being open when their hours are posted, are slim to none. Bait hook advertising. Don't come here after 10pm. They're only open every other night, sometimes.I wish I could update the lazy azzez that work here but I can't, oh wait, I can, they take breaks that last most hours of the night! bro, you're employees are joking you! Advertise price in the sign it is not what you pay they just put it to attract you second they close it I’m not 24 7/3 even if it happen average gas price the inside customer service is 1 star & prices are over charge customer I would like to say as Encinitas resident for the last 12 years you can use the restroom maybe this one of the best that not available all the time One time I went inside to ask for Gas recipe as out side recipe machine was not working cashier told me I don’t have it it’s what it / don’t water yiur tome belibe the gas price online or even tye sign on the curbside it’s nit real it just to bring you in trap
I am personally shocked and offended by all of these negative comments for my favorite gas station. Not only is this the cleanest gas station I've ever entered, they serve frozen yogurt and the BEST fresh sandwiches in town at Deli Luv. The Deli Luv ladies are beyond sweet and make a mean veggie sandwich - fast. Even the decor is kind of modern and cute. The car wash guys are great and even helped me try to repair a paint chip in my husband's car after I backed it into a mail box. Everyone there is just so nice. The cashier helped me in when I was locked out of my condo late night. And perhaps most importantly of all, they have the best tasting Diet Coke in town. Hands down the best gas station I have ever experienced and this is coming from someone who grew up road tripping.
Drove in to get gas at 6:50 pm. The pump said to see cashier. I went in. The place was empty but the worker sitting in a booth on her phone. Doesn’t look up. Shouts “we’re closed”. I’m thinking she means the food service. I say “the pump said to see cashier”. She barely shrugs “we’re closed” in her best IDGAF attitude. I will never give a penny to this place. Drove across the street to Mobil and filled my tank.
