Engaging Adults In Interaction (EAI) is an Adult Day Care Program designed to assist adults with Alzheimer's disease, memory impairment or other related dementias to maintain their highest level of ability while engaging in meaningful social and recreational activities in a safe and nurturing environment.
We enable caregivers to the opportunity to exercise the alternative to keep their loved ones at home by providing an affordable long term care option with daily rates that are less than the national average costs. We also are available to give caregivers much needed respite to alleviate the stress that often comes with the responsibility of caring for their loved ones.
We offer a variety of activities to include arts/crafts and hobbies, gardening, music appreciation, leisure activities and health, wellness and exercise. We also offer healthy lunch and snacks. Transportation is available within certain catchment areas.
Contact your Long-Term Care insurance policy provider who may have provisions for adult day care programs in their long-term care insurance. There are also a variety of local and state funding sources that will pay for the cost of adult day health programs. Individuals can apply for the MI Medicaid Fee Waiver Program through their local Area Agency on Aging. Veterans may also utilize our services with 100% of the cost being covered. Private pay is also accepted.
