Extremely loud staff , security cards , and people on their cell phones, and on computers playing games. The library is not what it is suppose to be and that's QUIET!!!

The Pennsylvania Avenue Enoch Pratt Library is such an Intellectual oasis in an urban desert of Ignorance, poverty and strife. If one only lifts his or her head up and come to this oasis and quench their thirst for the better life they are seeking. It may just be the start of what you've been seeking. Thanks Enoch Pratt Library for all you offer the community.

This library is really looking up. From the front desk helping me with a smile to the social worker that was there on site offering services and assistance with different programs. I encourage you to stop by and check out what they have to offer.

Better now than I've ever seen the place. Secure with a guard on hand, clean, and covid safety compliant. It's organized and has the most friendly, helpful, and respectful staff ever. Free wifi and computers, multiple levels for various events; and, oh yeah, lots of books.

Small little library but great for a quick read or jump on the computer and finish homework. Very clean, very friendly and covid safe. Love this place and it's conveniently located.

The picture on the outside of the building is charming! The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. There are plenty of computers. wifi for customers with their own devices, a fax and copier available for public use. The branch is always clean, accessible located at the Penn North subway stop CVS and Subway are directly across the street. If you do not find what you need on the shelf, the staff will happily order it from another branch or through inter-library loan. Although there were riots during April 2015, the library remained open the entire time due to the mutual respect between the library and the community.

The library is full of bedbugs and zombies. I sat down at the computer and they started crawling up my ass. Now I got to take like 3 showers. How am I or anybody else suppose to use the computer to find a job. #nonproductive. Seems more like a druggie hangout than a library.

All people who are working in this library are "Very friendly, helpful and patient." Clean, Quiet and Resourceful.

Visiting Day book made this the best visit. This library has some treasures and the staff are relatable, a special kind of hospitality.

Amazing neighborhood branch with engaged staff, well-marked areas, and computers! Wifi is available, and help is given when you asked! Though the selection of reading material is limited, requests can be placed for anything!
