Staff was extremely courteous. I turned 80 last year and had some health issues, so it had been a while since I was l was last in the library. I just sat down and enjoyed the quiet. I missed that!
Absolutely wonderful visit. I came to do a little computer work, printing, email research, things of that nature. Staff was helpful, building was very cool & comfortable, and atmosphere was GREAT!
Good welcoming Library. Visited when I was in town. It’s a small library and the staff is kind and friendly. You can use a computer or read books when visiting. If you have questions the staff if good at helping
My favorite library in Maryland, the librarians/staff are the kindest, most helpful people. During these times, it's amazing how nothing seems annoy them
This is the loudest library I have ever been to. There are no quiet areas designated, and no guidelines on use of cell phones or literal shouting I have experienced in all areas of the library. It looks nice, has a computer area, and lots of books. Meets all the standards except the basic.
They used to be small library with a few computers and books and after years they then expanded and it has security to keep watch out of the place, its clean, and has a section for kids and teens to use computers and a section for adults to use computers. Has upper level which you can get to by taking elevator or steps. Has quiet room or tables by books. Printing stations and help desks. Nice place. :- been going since I was a kid
I love going to this library. The staff are very nice and the library is huge and has lots of books. Using the computer to print was very easy and I was out in no time. This is my favorite library.
I was in a couple of days ago. The librarians at the front desk and computer were very helpful and friendly. I am back today, and the librarian in the teen section is letting a young man have a loud disturbing conversation with no one, disrupting the peace of the library and disturbing patrons. His constant prattle is annoying everyone except the librarian who doesn't seem interested in making the library an enjoyable place. Apparently there are some librarians who really care about customer service, and others who only care about sitting in their chair while expending as few calories as possible in their lack of service.
I am a regular of the branch at Eastern Ave and Conkling also the main branch on Cathedral. I prefer the Eastern Ave branch by far. Easier to navigate , more comfortable and helpful friendly staff. The main branch is beautiful but I can never get comfortable.
This library is clean, modern, and well stocked. The first floor has a children's area and large selection of movies avialable for check-out. There are many public access computers and a computer lab for job searching and computer classes. The computer terminals are set up for 1-hour usage, but that time can be extended up to 4-hours per day. You are able to print up to 5 pages black and white per day for free. There is free public access Wi-Fi and restrooms available. There is also a restaurant downstairs. The staff are friendly and professional.
