James K. Fortson, MD MPH MBA CPE FACS is Board certified in Otolaryngology. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He attended Medical School at the State University of New York in Buffalo. Dr. Fortson’s specialty training in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery was completed at the prestigious Boston University & Tufts University combined program with Harvard University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Fortson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Fortson also maintains membership with the Caribbean Otolaryngology Society. Dr. Fortson is the former Chief of Surgery at Atlanta Medical Center – South Campus.
