I was told this is the best place to get someone walking and talking after being on a vent for 2 months due to Covid. My loved one was taken off the vent, he could already talk,  and they got him to walk.  Having a loved one in a no visitors facility was very hard. They did al they could to save his life. The person calling to give me updates was very vague and sometimes rude. The PA and Charge nurse over his care were great.  When he was transferred I saw he was not given any hygiene care. He had a couple of bed sores. They did get him off the vent and walking. They just need to work on giving info to family and hygiene on patients that can’t do for themselves. They kept him alive, improving, off the vent, and walking. All those are great. The other issues needs lots of work.

My wife had a miserable experience at this location during her stay.  She would often be unattended for hours covered in bile, she would address people to let them know there was an issue and the buck would always be passed off. They did not communicate willingly with me about her updates, even after speaking with multiple people at multiple levels addressing our concerns.  One of the Drs admitted they weren’t advanced enough to handle her current issues and sent her back to her original facility with a huge misdiagnosis that scared us all terribly for no reason. A few nurses and staff were a joy to be around, that is the only reason they went to 2 stars rather than 1. Find another facility if you have the opportunity.

Today I went to see my family member admitted to this hospital. I will be honest that I was a little nervous about her stay here, but as we sat in the family room that started to ease away. Staff constantly acknowledged us and spoke. They answered our concerns and showed genuine compassion in the care provided. I am happy with our decision to place her at this location and happy with what this hospital offers in our community. This in my opinion would be considered a somewhat hidden gem.

I would like to thank the charge nurse I think his name was Priestly for a wonderful tour of the facility. All the staff were very friendly as I walked through during my tour. I feel more comfortable sending my loved one there. Considering the construction going on, I’m sure patient care and safety is a priority.

Stayed at REGENCY for several weeks and it was a wonderful  experience. Nurses are very courteous. Responded to call light very attentively. They explained all new meds along with side effects which was helpful. The nurses are very friendly...I wish I could remember all of their names...Ms. Prosper, Ms. Jackson, Mr. Larry and Oren. There are more, I just can't remember their names. Case Manager Michelle R. kept me update on what was going on. Every thing was kept clean housekeeping would clean room in a timely fashion.

Terrible. I arrived in the ER with heart palpitations. After sitting in the lobby for 6 hours and having a couple of tests done they sent me home with some prescriptions. I was still having heart palpitations. They didn’t give me any kind of medication while I was there. I went to this hospital because of heart problems and 6 hours later they sent me home in the exact same condition. Please don’t come here.

Please don't leave your love ones alone at this hospital.  If only I could rewind time and never stepped foot inside.. 3 and a half months I was there with my mama.  I wish I could have stayed 24 hours a day with her.  I have many unanswered questions about her death.  No one will return my calls in the records department.

Since being at Regency it has been a very health experience for my husband,  Willie Hollinger.  He is a very sick man and it has taken a team of medical staffer to help maintain and stabilize all his conditions.  It also take a wealth of health knowledge and dedication to  be a team.  I was most impress with each and everyone that was apart of his team, and they all gave 100%.  Dr. Osinuga, thanks for your mental support throughout those 4 weeks, you are the best, Let's stay positive.  Michelle, Brian, Brook, Oren, and all the rest of the medical team were great during our stay on 4th floor.

This place is despicable!  If I could give this facility less than one star, I would. Majority of the nursing staff and doctors are very rude and unprofessional. People in the medical profession are usually caring and compassionate but the staff here does not possess these qualities.

This is the worst hospital in Atlanta hands down. I dread going to the emergency room there but unfortunately there aren't many options on this side of town. I hadn't eaten in two days, was very dizzy and dehydrated and they just told me to wait in the waiting room until my name is called. Three hours later I went to the lady who does the vital signs at the registration desk and told her I felt like I was gonna pass out and she just shrugged her shoulders. I asked for a blanket or something because I had the chills and was literally shivering. Her response was we don't give out blankets in the waiting room. I hate that this is the only option in SW Atlanta. Terrible.
