Every single person that came in contact with my dad was truly amazing. From being greeted upon arrival, meeting a custodial worker to get me back to his room, to the daily nurses showing him all the care in the world, they are superb. The most friendly dietary aids, physical therapists, nurses, doctors & staff in general. We couldn’t be happier with the way they cared for him as though he was part of their family.  Any time I visited, and staff had to come in to check on him, I could tell they truly cared. He talked about Trish & her crew doing his rehab, the chef making sure his meals were to his satisfaction, and Alfonso showing him the utmost respect and care. Alfonso was the best, made sure there were no needs left undone, treated my dad like a companion, and he will always have an important impression on my dad’s life. We are so grateful for such a personal and high quality staff. This type of care makes such an impact on how a person recovers and rehabs, mentally and physically. Thank you so much for bringing my dad home. Well over 10 stars  . My dad Mitchell Mehalic and all of us are forever grateful!

I went to visit my grandfather after only being at the facility 1 week. He smelled very bad. I asked for help and some workers were very rude and laughed at the fact I asked if he could be washed up. So sad

When food trays are out "on the floor," and the patients ask for extra items, they need to start arriving in a more timely manner.  It shouldn't have taken almost two hours at lunch just to get some barbecue sauce for a patty melt and some salad dressing. By the time the barbecue sauce and salad dressing finally came, the patty melt was cold, and the patient had lost their appetite for the salad.

Regency East doctors, nurses, aids, rehab and respiratory therapists, dietician, and cleaning staff care about their patients! I spent a month flat on my back, my arms and hands paralyzed, with a trach due to complications from bacterial pneumonia. Staff members encouraged me and gave me hope that I would recover with time. My constant needs made me feel burdensome, but they reassured me I mattered and was no burden even with their apparent staffing shortages and full load of critical care patients. They cheered my tiny progresses, listened to my frustrations, and tolerated my grumpy days. I was well cared for and even the pureed food when at long last I could have it was delicious! Highly recommend. I hope I never need them again but if I do I know I'll have my best chance with them.

My stay was great.the staff  worked well with me All was well when I was discharged  home. Good place to recover.

The care here was excellent. The food was delicious, the rooms were very clean, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. One of the nurses even let me borrow her phone charger. I would strongly recommend this hospital to anyone!

If I could give negative stars I would. Horrible experience. Misread obvious surgical wounds, with held food and pain meds,  stating let's see what hospice says. It was a full time job trying to communicate with them on behalf of my mom. She died a week after we pulled her out of there.

After surviving covid pneumonia , i don’t think i could have improved so fast if i didn’t come to regency East.   The staff is phenomenal!!  The best word for the staff is cheerleaders, anytime i was having a hard day they would provide words of encouragement, and hold my hand.  They were very professional Yet they treated me like family.    I always felt safe and well cared for!

While some of the staff were very nice we found the communication was terrible. My father was admitted on a Friday morning and we never could reach anyone about a health plan for him until the following Tuesday. I called in numerous times to speak with his Doctor and never received a call back until after I had a meeting with staff and the CEO of the facility.  On the day they sent him home to us, they left his feeding tube in by mistake, and nobody ever apologized about it.   Before being transferred there from Hillcrest Hospital they made us feel that there were Doctors there on a regular basis. This was untrue and it was mostly manager types caring for the patients. Some of the nurses there are not even full time employees, they are just brought in on an as needed basis. Unfortunately I would not recommend this facility. - Update to my review: After posting this review the Hospital did contact me and they were very apologetic and sincere.  They never asked me to remove the review or edit it.  I am editing this because I felt that they were sincere in their apology and I believe they will try to make sure this does not happen to anyone else
