First, I have had nothing but problems this go around with this enterprise. The first rental they gave me while my car is being repaired was horrible! Soon as I pulled off the lot, caution lights came on saying the front headlight and back brake light needed to be checked/serviced, on top of the oil hadn’t been changed and one of the back seat belts was almost ripped in half and doesn’t lock into the buckle process…. I had to figure that out the hard way when my child came out of her booster seat. So they gave me another car, immediately the caution came on that the key fob battery needed to be replaced, the tire pressure was very low, and this car also was in terrible need of an oil change. I didn’t think anything of it until now that I am stuck and the car will not start at all. All they said with the first car was, “sorry but we usually check for these things before giving out cars and me another. With the current rental I have they just said that someone will come pick it up to stay with the car. This is the worse experience I have ever had with statesville enterprise and I will never trust this location again to get a rental.
Unfortunately after a accident, I had to get a rental for about a month while my vehicle was being repaired. Dealing with the ins co was horrible… however the customer service received from the employees at enterprise in Statesville was superior! They made an unfortunate situation much more pleasant to tolerate and go through. Having the vehicle a month, needing extensions, a ride, etc I dealt with multiple employees over that time and EVERY ONE of them was the most pleasant. They got me in a great vehicle, they were super attentive and happy and just a pleasure to deal with in an ordinarily nightmare situation. If I’m ever in need of a rental again, I will not hesitate to choose this establishment. The employees get it and they are great!
My partner and I had a tough time with my own car, so we had to make several calls to figure out how to get to the Enterprise car rental location. Finally, we managed to reach the Enterprise branch. I want to acknowledge the staff's effort in arranging transportation for us, which would have earned them a 5-star rating. However, the problem arose when I started driving the car from Enterprise. It kept cutting off, which was quite scary. Thankfully, when I contacted them again, they allowed me to switch to another car. Apart from the issue of providing a faulty vehicle, I didn't encounter any other problems with Enterprise. Therefore, I give them a 4-star rating.
EDIT: THIS REVIEW WS NOT LEFT BY US - I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO NORTH CAROLINA - THERE ARE A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF "NEW REVIEWS" IN THE LAST MONTH - I SUSPECT SOMETHING FISHY GOING ON DROPPED STARS FROM 5 TO 3. LEFT ORIGINAL SCAMMED REVIEW BELOW FOR CLARITY. We needed a car very last-minute recently. The ladies at the Statesville Enterprise office helped us out a ton. Very communicative, they were able to deliver a vehicle on very short notice, and the whole rental process was smooth and flawless. Great job, absolutely no complaints.
The guys at Enterprise took good care of me and my wife after an accident that wasn't our fault and left us without transportation. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks again Sterling.
We were headed from PA to Montgomery AL for vacation when a deer assaulted our car just north of NC. This is where our saga begins . . . "Call Enterprise, we'll pick you up." Ummm - no they won’t - not on a Saturday morning when they have only one associate on the counter. Sterling was fantastic but the dude prepping the cars might as well have stayed home! According to the announcement while waiting on hold, Enterprise is taking extra measures to ensure all cars are exceptionally clean due to the COVID hoax. Ummm . . . not true either! First, the car was presented so filthy I rejected it. Sterling had the attendant take it back for additional cleaning. When he brought it back I pointed out there was a stain presumably a white liquid bodily excretion right in the middle of the left front seat. I asked him if he missed it or didn’t feel it was not important enough to address. His reply? "Well we aren't a detail shop." I could not believe what I was hearing! First, I asked him if he would accept the car with that stain The blank stare on his face was all the answer I needed so I told him to go get a bottle of spray cleaner and a towel and I'd clean it myself. Determined to solidify his obvious commitment to underachievement, he reluctantly took the car around the corner of the building and brought it back with the seat SOAKING WET! No more j!zz stain - YIPPEE! Since nothing was going to stand in the way of our paid for Air B&B we drove to Alabama in this piece of cr$p. We tried without success to swap the car out while in Montgomery. There were zero cars available within a 60 mile radius. The car reeks of smoke and $as. The interior glass is so filthy, laden with child sized palm prints and obviously hadn't been cleaned after weeks of rentals. The headliner is equally as filthy and the left rear tire pressure warning indicator has been at 20 PSI no matter how many times I aired it up. As to our carrier State Farm, they haven't been a good neighbor in this saga. Enterprise is equally as contemptible. Bottom line - if you plan on hitting a deer make sure it's not 350 miles from home where you have ZERO control!

Excellent Service. I rent vehicles for work trips often without anticipation due to the nature of my work. They are always willing to go far and beyond to help me get what I need size car and quickly.
The 3 stars are because the car I rented for the price, was phenomenal!! That's where it ends. I walked 1.9 miles to get there, I told them I was purchasing a new car and would likely modify my return. I was told this was not an issue. NOT TRUE! I could have returned it early, but no modifications allowed. So on top of the $300 deposit bank hold because you can only use actual debit cards I had to pay to uber an hour to the rental car to bring it back to Statesville and then uber home. That cost more than the rental. Lesson learned..no Enterprise just Uber. We'll pick you up...just not here.
I did everything online and went in person to pick up my rental for the weekend! Sterling and Raymond were so nice and accommodating to others as well as myself. Will definitely be coming back.
