I use to travel over 1 hr to Erie foster for prenatal care. Unfortunately won’t be going back since they kept telling me I couldn’t see the same doctor because she was booked with appointments. My appointments were so messed up that instead of seeing a doctor for every 2 weeks and every week at 3rd trimester I was seeing by someone once a month. Waste of time so the day of my delivery I ended up going somewhere close to home. Also after 6 weeks of baby delivery Erie calls me to schedule an appointment for postpartum what a joke. Didn’t even call me to see how was baby or see if I needed an appointment after delivery.
Long long waits most of the time just to check in with receptionist. Hire more people, or if you can't afford it, then put E kiosks machines that will be quick and fast .just like other facilities have those machines. Secondly please train your staff well because they thought we were asking you charity but tell them you charged us. Extremely rude services are being provided .
Why does everyone need to wait in such a long line to check in? I had to go in very frequently for my newborn and every time I had to wait in line just to say nothing has changed. It has been years and they do not improve the process. They also make it difficult or next to impossible to schedule appts, you have basically call and get lucky after being on hold for a long time.
Absolutely unprofessional, borderline ghetto. They have a new scam now. The "sick symptoms". Hilarious. I got tennis elbow or a rsi. After seeing my jobs urgeny care, they suggested i follow up with my doctor. Big joke. I called to make a routine appt,,,got transferred to urgent care nurse. Even they laughed. Loke,,charging my insurance for that? Have been trying to make a routine appt for 3 days now. Ive literally been transferred, repeatedly as they are still pushing another "nurse call". They are legit so desperate for money, they wont even provide refills on my asthma medication. Took them 2 yrs to figure out i had kidney disease, all while pumping me full of random pills. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for health care. Im definitely calling my insurance to inform them of the new scam they have going. And asking for a different provider altogether.
Went to ER for asthma, they were usually so great about you getting right in, but I waited an hour and a half, struggling to breathe, while they were enjoying their lunch. HELP I wanted to cry out. Finally then finally I was waited on. Drs are terrific there. Wish they could improve their procedures. The nurses I had were great.
I started my prenatal care here I had to try really hard to keep the same Dr because they keep switching them up every appt. And they also have ridiculous wait times. My last appt they sat me in the room where I was waiting for 45 mins. In the meantime the nurse took the ultrasound machine out of the room, like really? And after 45 mins I walked out to ask about my Dr and was told she got held up with another patient. Ok. I kept waiting. The dr showed up and just listen to the heartbeat instead of doing an ultrasound saying that’s all she needs so I left feeling robbed of this experience. The appt was rushed and she didn’t spend more than 10 mins with me. I’m definitely going somewhere else
They lucky they're even getting two stars to be honest. Everytime I have a appointment here at this foster location I wait a hour or more in waiting room to where I leave. Then if I do get called before the hour I wait 30min to a hour for a doctor to come in and they won't even spend more than 10min rushing etc and when asked to talk to doc they tell me the doc already with someone else like really? This location rediculous to be honest. Reason two stars because of a couple of doctors that are good there...
I usually don’t like to do this especially about our healthcare workers but it must be known. I been with Erie for many years but these last couple years have been an absolute circus!!! Wait time on the phone is ridiculous. Doctor visits are the worst. An hour in the waiting room, another 30 in the actual room. I beeN having the same symptoms for 6+ months to have no tests done. I been on the waiting list for therapy since February!!! My daughter was given the wrong vaccine. My son is in urgent need of a psychiatrist and the clinic knows this and still no support for that. I took it upon myself today to switch my primary care doctors for me and my kids.
The worst customer service ever! I understand the whole staff shortage but come on!! Almost an hour on hold to get thru for the representative to be so rude and unprofessional. Then to be on another hold for her to check “notes” like this is ridiculous. I have been going to this clinic forever now, have family members that work here too. But this is insane I will be looking for a new provider for my daughter. The wait on these calls for appointments is simply ridiculous.
I used to think really highly of the location on Foster but it seems like they don't have enough staff to keep their appointments for women who are pregnant. I'm in my last month of pregnancy and they don't seem to be able to keep my Dr appointments. They sent me to Swedish last time because they canceled my appointment, less than 24 hours, and said I should go there for my tests. I went and absolutely no one knew I was supposed to have an appointment there. I had to walk across the street to ask what was going on. They said they'd call the ob station for me and Swedish still acted like I didn't have an appointment. Even though that was not on me at all. Then they left me in a room for an hour and never brought my husband in. I was only supposed to be there for 20 minutes! I asked for my husband to be brought into the room twice! And he was still left outside. When I walk out it was 12:40pm. My appointment was supposed to be at 10:30am. Now once I'm having another schedule issue with them an they are canceling my appointment and changing the time. I'm fed up with them at this point.
