Erie Metroparks Dog Park

We loved this park!! Lots of space to run & separate sides for large & small dogs. parking and getting in & out were super easy! they had running water and bowls out there for the dogs as well as bags to pick up waste. it seemed to be a very safe location! we went in the mornings so there usually weren’t other people there!

I had the opportunity to visit the Sandusky area for a few days. Our Apollo is pretty active and needs to stretch his legs daily. This worried me, but we found Erie Metro parks Dog Park and were extremely pleased! The space is clean and spacious, water was provided, a small obstacle course is in one corner, and plenty of benches for owners who are not quite as active as their pups! A great dog park!

There are some great shaded areas at this MetroPark, that can be used to effectively cool you off during the sweltering summer heat. There is a convenient & designated fenced area, near the entrance to the marked childrens forest, where pets & their owners can bark & stretch their legs as we as drop waste + complete natural bodily functions.

Very nice, large fenced in spaces for large or small/shy dogs. Stopped while on a road trip from Chicago and it helped an antsy doggo get some runs out.

Love this place and most importantly my 3 furry kids love it there. They recognize instantly when we go and they get sooo excited to play with other dogs.

Nice clean dog park. Small dog side was a lot less space than the large dog side. Park was clean, had a portable toilet onsite for the human needs. Not crowded, and the other visitors were pleasant and respectful.

Hands down best dog park in the area, very large, has a few obstacles, two different zones based on dog size, many friendly furry pals and owners.
