New Years day, 2018, Esperanza's was busy. Esperanza and all of the employees were practically running to take care of their customers. My family and I were greeted and seated almost immediately. The staff was friendly and the food was well seasoned and awesome! I loved the prawn fajitas and the guacamole was great as well. Definitely recommend!
Food was some of the worst I've ever had. And the prices are insane for what they serve. I don't mind paying more for good food but was some of the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. I felt sick all day after eating here. I would not recommend and will not be returning ever.Food: 1/5
Ask for the spicy salsa! Made everything better! Enchiladas were great and my husband loved his pork taco.

Very nice Mexican restaurant, tucked away downstairs in the middle of town. The food, service and atmosphere all excellent. Wheelchair accessibility: Downstairs so not great for wheelchairs or crutches.
This place was acceptable for american mexican food with almost nothing distinctive or wrong about it, besides the elevated Telluride pricing. It was better than the other mexican place we tried in town.
Really quick and good service! Loved the cabbage salsa to start! And the food was really good. One person in our party said it was the best enchiladas she had ever had.
What a wonderful place to meet friends ans share a meal together... The Cabbage Salsa is delicious as well as our entire meals. Esperanza personally waited on our table... Refreshing that a dinner establishment still has the owners still active in the business.. Thanks for a great evening and want the recipe for the Salsa....
Our experience was negative. First the prices, even in a resort town were outrageous for a Mexican restaurant. The food was poor, the service was questionable. After skiing in Telluride and talking with people on the lifts, nobody ever said eat there and I agree. Go ANYWHERE else.
