Plastic surgery by a board certified team of female plastic surgeons.
At eSSe Plastic Surgery, you’ll find two highly trained and exceptionally skilled women doctors listening to the concerns of patients to help them realize their goals in a safe, trustworthy environment. We want to change the dynamic of the doctor/patient relationship so that, rather than a male perspective being imposed upon a female patient, our female patients are empowered to look better, feel better and be the best that they can be.
“We chose eSSe to reassure women about the essential concerns they all have when contemplating surgery: safety, trust in our experience and abilities, as well as the special understanding that women caring for women can offer,” Dr. Stokes said in making the announcement. “We want women of any age to feel very comfortable about asking their many questions in complete confidence prior to electing surgery,” Dr. Sudarsky added. “We are proud to represent a new option for the women of South Florida.”
According to some estimates, only one in nine plastic surgeons in the U.S. are women, suggesting that male surgeons handle the vast majority of cosmetic procedures. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, 91% of all cosmetic procedures in 2013 were performed on women, and breast augmentation remains the top cosmetic surgical procedure since 2006.
