William W. Erhart practices estate and asset protection planning and elder law. After serving in the Marine Corps, he attended the University of Delaware and the Reformed Episcopal Seminary and received his Juris Doctor degree from the Rutgers University School of Law in 1982. Mr. Erhart served as a judicial law clerk in the Superior Court of the State of Delaware and then as a Deputy Attorney General for the Delaware Department of Justice. He has been in private practice since 1988.
He is a member of WealthCounsel, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, ElderCounsel, the American Bar Association (Probate & Estates Section), the Delaware State Bar Association (Trusts & Estates Section) and is current Chair of the Elder Law section of the Delaware State Bar Association. He has practiced law for twenty-nine years and has taught numerous seminars.
